Saint Tai Banks (St-Patricks)

'Babygirl you know I love you tho,

You can tell my secrets but I love you though

I can take you anywhere you wanna go

Tell me where you wanna go'

I sing along to Brent new song, and smoke my weed trying to get my mind of the chaos going on in my mind right now. I wanted to dwell on something other than what happened between me and Naih last night.

The warm french air blew in my face, as I came to a stop at a red light. East pulls up beside me.

'Yo, you coo?' he says concerned.

I flash him a smile and zoom off in my convertible when it turns yellow, I take another turn and stop at the expensive looking restaurant on the edge of town. I get out turning down my music and throwing my keys to the valet.

'Look after my car,' I say tapping the hood of the car and jogging towards the stairs, ready for this to be over with. Von comes up to me stopping me.

'Are you ok?'

'God, no I'm losing it. Is it that obvious?'

He scoffs walking away. I frown puffing out the smoke and walking into the restaurant behind East.

Seeing them two sitting at a table with my loved ones makes me sick, but this is what my life has become.

'Son!' says my Father moving to give me a hug.

I puff the smoke into his face and move around to say hello to Michael, my dad.

'Hello, how old are you now,' I say sitting next to my mum and kissing her on the cheek.

'40, so shut the fuck up.' he says smiling at me.

My father sits down clenching his jaw.

'It's rude to ignore your father.'

I grip unto the arm of the chair to prevent my hand from reaching for my gun. No matter how old I get my younger self never healed from his trauma.

East looks me in the eyes. Silently telling me to control myself, and I do.

I blow the smoke his way, airing Angelina when she coughs repeatedly.

'Yo get, yo shit checked,' mugs East, I laugh almost choking on the smoke. My mum takes both our blunts from our lips setting it down.

'No smoking at the table' she says waving the waiter over.

'Order please,' she says going back to eating.

Me and East order and wait.

'Hows Naih,' I swivel my head towards Jayda.

'She's lovely thanks for asking' I say smiling.
