Soon our professor walked in with Gabriel on his trail. He wore a black waistcoat with his black coat draped over his arm which was tucked into his pockets. He sported what seemed to be a Cartier Santos watch with a black shirt.

I looked at his veiny hands eyeing the rings that caged his long fingers. He had a single plain silver chain around his neck and expensive-looking shoes.

In a nutshell, he looked amazing, I stared in awe as my classmates gushed and made love eyes at him, I couldn't blame them, he was a site to behold. He placed his coat on the back of the professors chair leaning against his desk, looking passively at the class. His eyes wandered before they finally landed on mine, his misty green eyes bore into my dark brown ones.

I stared enthralled at the sea of green. He looked away breaking eye contact and I looked flushed at my Ipad pullin out the pen you used to write on it. The professor introduced him again, and he began his lecture. He had been talking for about fifteen minutes now and although I found his voice very attractive and was aroused by it, I slowly lost concentration.

Khalee had gave up five minutes after he started speaking. 'Miss. Banze, I seem to be boring you.' he said staring straight at Khalees sleeping form.  I nudged her silently asking her to wake up. He leaned on the teachers desk patiently waiting for me to wake up Khalee. 'Khalee.' I whispered nudging her.

When she didn't wake up I grabbed, i grabbed my phone playing the same ringtone she had for her mom on low volume. 'merde' she said waking p startled. Her sun glasses fell from her head shading her eyes.

Gabriel looked at her blankly and she smiled sheepishly, 'Sorry......had a ....late night.' she said pretending to be writing notes. I giggled lowly covering my mouth with my hands.

His attention diverted to me. ' Miss. Amrani, please explain to me the ways to keep staff happy, without raising their salary.'  he said with a clenched jaw. 'Since you find something so funny.' I frowned, refusing to look at him or Khalee because I'd laugh or cry.

I scrolled through my notes finding the point. 'Prioritize work-life balance, Make employees part of the big picture, Be transparent and honest, Offer more vacation time, Encourage communication in common areas, Create a career pathway, Promote a positive work environment and  Build employees up.'

When I was done he got back on with the lesson, barely minding me. Then again there was nothing to mind. 'Miss. Amrani could you please stand at the front and summarise the points today.' He said leaning on the desk and rearranging the things on the desk.

I cleared my throat, nervous, I'd never been a big fan of public speeches, due to my tendency to always think about what others thought. 'I have three minutes left Amrani.' I stood up grabbing my iPad and its pen clutching onto it tightly.
