As the car glided to a stop, Miraya glanced around, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and confusion. A sleek structure loomed overhead, and she noticed the modern glass facade reflecting the city lights. This didn't seem like a typical date location, and a flutter of uncertainty stirred in her stomach.
"Is this the right place?", she asked the driver, her brow furrowing in curiosity.
He nodded with a smile. "Yes, ma'am. Enjoy your evening!"
As she stepped out, her heart raced with anticipation. The entrance to the office building was grand, with polished marble floors and sleek furnishings that spoke of success and sophistication. But a part of her was perplexed—why would he choose his office as the meeting point for their date?
Her heels clicked against the marble as she entered, a mixture of intrigue and confusion swirling in her mind. Finding a note stuck to the elevator to press on the 30th floor, she punched the four-digit code. The elevator took her up to the penthouse level, the ride filled with a quiet anticipation. 'What was he planning?'
When the doors slid open, Miraya's breath was caught in her throat and her ears were filled with the soft hum of music. The space before her was nothing short of breathtaking. It was his penthouse, but it was transformed into a romantic paradise—soft candlelight flickered throughout the room, casting a warm glow on the elegant table set for two, adorned with delicate flowers and sparkling crystal. She took a deep breath, the air thick with the scent of something delicious.
Ruhaan stood by the table, a charming smile spreading across his face as he saw her. "Surprise", he said, his voice rich with warmth and playfulness. "I wanted to create an intimate setting, away from the noise of the world."
Her confusion melted away as the realization dawned on her. This was not just an office; it was his safe place which he had chosen to share with her. The warmth of the room enveloped her like a hug, and her heart soared at the thoughtfulness behind his plan.
"You did all this?", she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, overwhelmed by the beauty of the moment.
He stepped closer, his eyes sparkling with mischief and affection. "Only the best for tonight," he replied, his gaze steady and sincere. "It could never be as special as you are, but I tried", he said scratching the back of his neck in nervousness.
Ruhaan found himself momentarily breathless. The dress he'd chosen for her, a soft shade of midnight blue, seemed to meld perfectly with the dim light, casting a glow that made her look almost ethereal. Her hair cascaded in soft waves around her shoulders, framing a face that carried the faintest blush. She met his gaze with a shy smile, and he could feel his pulse quicken.
Taking a step closer, he took her hand, pressing it gently, his thumb tracing the ring resting on her finger. His voice softened, a warm, hushed tone meant only for her, "You look... perfect."
Miraya felt her cheeks warm instantly, the blush spreading as his words lingered in the air, teasing and thrilling. She looked down, trying to hide the smile tugging at her lips, but he was watching too closely to miss it.
His gaze turned a little playful as he leaned closer. "You know," he murmured, his eyes roaming from her heaving breasts to the curve of her waist, "I thought this dress would look amazing, but I didn't expect it to be this unfairly distracting."
His fingers brushed along the sleeve of her dress, as if testing the fabric, though his eyes stayed locked on hers. "You're making it impossible to think straight. It's like you walked out of a dream... my dream, maybe", he added, a hint of mischief in his smile.
Drawing her hand to his chest, Ruhaan tilted his head slightly, "How am I supposed to focus on anything else tonight when you look like that?" His thumb swept softly over her knuckles, his voice dropping just a little. "You could wear anything, or nothing at all, and I'd still be completely captivated." He chuckled, eyes dancing with a spark that matched his tone. "But I'll be a gentleman... for now."
