(*The way this chapter took SOOOO long for me to write... sorry for the wait guys... here it is... This sounds so bittersweet to type out, but I fear it's finally time for the final chapter of this book. I've spread it out for too long and we've finally came to a conclusion. Holding back tears right now because I never thought I would actually be motivated to finish this book, or have so much support from you guys ;((((
Sorry if it took a while to write, I've been so busy with life that I haven't had much of a chance to write this chapter. BUTTTT!!! I have plans for a new book already that I've been thinking about writing, so however long it takes for me to publish the first few chapters... but I hope you guys can give that book a try too <3 obviously, it's just another Scara x reader lmfao, 😭😭😭 BUTTTTT I wouldn't mind opinions on Lohen x reader or anyone else...
Be prepared, this is a very long chapter...)
~(Wanderer)~
The night passed by quickly, (Wanderer) was awoken by the noise of a door shutting outside the room. Briefly adjusting his eyes from the rays of sunlight in the room, he turns to the other side and takes a few minutes before quietly sitting up.
After their whole session last night, he put (Y/N) straight to bed and she's still sleeping soundly right now. Glancing down at the woman below him, the puppet couldn't help but give a sigh of relief. The first time they slept together, he left abruptly so he never got to take in her sleeping form.
Till this day, he regrets not telling her about his plan that day, but it couldn't be help as he feared she wouldn't be happy with what he was planning. He knew if she tried to stop him, he would ultimately lie to her again and lose her trust in him. That was something he wouldn't want to do, so he always thought the best scenario was to just leave and deal with the consequences later.
Surprisingly, those repercussions weren't so bad, so maybe this is how fate plays its toll. Stroking a fallen strand of hair out of her face, he looks at his lover like she was the most delicate thing in the world. Well, to him, she definitely was.
Once he was done admiring his woman, he decided to get ready and go outside the room. Figuring that the person that shut the door was Nahida returning from her desert excursion, he knew he needed to talk to the goddess before (Y/N) wakes up.
Thankfully, the Dendro Archon was spotted in the center area of the sanctuary, so he quickly made his way towards her, "Lesser Lord Kusanali." he greeted.
Nahida looked up from her paperwork and gave him a quick wave to sit down beside her. (Wanderer) obliges and sat down as she set aside her files and looked up at him.
"Good morning, (Wanderer)!"
"Good morning, Nahida."
"I assume you wanted to talk to me about (Y/N)?"
He nods his head and opens his mouth to speak but was hesitant to say what was on his mind. Feeling slightly embarrassed by what he wanted to say, he clears his throat and tries again:
"Ahem, yes. I was hoping you could lend me a hand with the... uh-"
"Wedding preparations?" the god guessed.
The puppet could feel a small blush creep up his face and he lowers his head, never has he felt so bashful before. Fidgeting with the feather pendant on his clothes, he tried his best to summon some courage to discuss further preparations.
"I- ahem- wanted to propose. Properly this time."
Nahida gave him a big smile and cupped her mouth, she was feeling excited, anyone could tell from her facial expressions. He knew he had officially recruited her help before she even answered him.
