"Well I'm not telling you who I am!"she said as she looked down again "well we need to know who you are sweetheart"I told her "hey lu Angela called we're needed at the station we can bring the girl with us"Tim told me "alright let's go" I said getting up we got in the car and drove to the station I got out the car and helped the girl out she held tightly onto my hand as we went to the office "hey Luce here I need your help on this case" Angela said as she handed me a gun
Me and Angela was working and Tamara was sat on the sofa "hey Luce what's the girls name then?"Angela asked me "I don't know she won't say" I told Angela as I shrugged my shoulders "run her prints you'll get a record for her"Angela said "Angela I can't the girls terrified of giving me her band because she doesn't want to go back to her parents" I said to Angela "so your just keeping a stranger in your house what if she was sent to kill you lucy!"angela yelled
"Angela she's a kid she's got trauma I have no idea what she's been through but she's got bruises and cuts on her body and I know that's not fake"I shouted at her I got up and went to go toilet when I started to walk back I heard screaming it was Tamara hearing the pure terror in her voice made me scared I ran to where she was screaming to see nyla pinning down Tamara whilst Angela was fiddling with a needle trying to get it in Tamara's arm "Angela wtf get off her!"I shouted Angela got up then I shoved Nyla off Tamara and pulled Tamara into my arms and stroked her head as she buried her face in my chest and started sobbing she gripped tightly onto my top and I continued stroking her head and rubbing her back until she calmed down "Angela Nyla what do you think your doing?"I asked them "look I was just trying to take some blood so we could see who she is"Angela said "and I told you she's not saying anything about who she is because she's scared and now she's probably more terrified of us seriously what the fuck I'm taking her home and you two are not to come near this girl until I figure out how you two can make it up to her"I yelled at them as I scooped the girl into my arms once again I saw Tim as I was walking out the station "lu where you going?"tim asked me
"I'm taking her home and I'm going home too" I told him "why what happened?"he asked me "ask Angela and Nyla they messed up big time"I told him I drove home and took the girl inside i sat on the couch and the girl lay against me her head on my chest I felt my top get wet I looked down to see her awake and crying
"my names Tamara I'm really sorry I didn't tell you earlier I don't want anybody to hurt me now" she says as tears started running down her cheeks
"Sweetheart I'm really sorry about what my friends did to you earlier that was not okay and I promise no one will do that to you again okay" I told her
"but someone will"she told me "Tamara I'm not going to let that happen to you"I told her as I pulled her into a hug she started to cry again "but if mummy and daddy find me then they'll hurt me"she cried "sweetheart what did they do to you" I asked her
"daddy hurt my private area he said it was okay because we was playing doctors"she said quietly as she sniffled and looked away from me
"Sweetheart what did your dad do when you was playing doctors?" I asked her "stuff doctors do"she said as if she was hiding what actually happened to her "sweetheart is that how you got the cuts?" I asked her she shook her head no "I got them when I was running around trying to find food or help and someone tried to grab me it I fought back and they chucked me on the floor the ones on my legs are from my dad but my stomach that's from the guy"she told me "sweetheart what made your dad do that to you?"I asked her "daddy and mummy drink a lot they're always sleeping "alright honey do you know your last name Tamara nodded "Collins" she said
"Okay good sweetheart we're going to go head somewhere we got in the car and drove to Tamara's parents house "tam stay in the car" I told her I headed inside "hello" I called out "whose there?" Tamara's mum said "Detective Chen I have your daughter" I told them "oh that brat go she's so needy" her mum told me "how is she needy?" I asked her "she's always asking for food and water and to have a shower god it's so annoying"she said "how long ago did you feed her?" I asked them "maybe a month and a week ago anyways how did you find my daughter" because she knocked at me door asking if I had any food so I let her in and gave her food "how dare you feed her she's still grounded no food for two months now it's starting again poor Tamara" Tamara's dad said "Tamara isn't coming back here I'll make sure of that"I yelled at them before quickly leaving knowing if I stayed another minute I'd punch them both until they understood what there doing is wrong I went back to the car and Tamara was sobbing "I'm sorry I got out the car why don't they care about me"she cried "sweetheart it's okay come on let's go to mine okay" I told her "Lucy can I live with you?"she asked.
