(Tamara's POV)
The next morning after I woke up and got dressed Lucy did my hair and we left to the station I stayed by her side the whole day when it was lunch I ate some food then Lucy let me try some of her food it tasted super nice we went home and Lucy opened the freezer she came back with two ice cream pots and two spoons "how about we eat ice cream and watch movies like old times?"lucy asked smiling I nodded "yes I could never say no to you or ice cream"I said giggling as I opened my pot of ice cream and scooped some on my spoon I ate then quickly took another bite and another it tasted so good I missed ice cream I hadn't had it since I well since I had cancer I turned to mum "mum?"I asked "yes baby"Lucy answered pausing the movie and turning to me "what do you think would have happened if I didn't survive the whole cancer thing?"I asked "well you'd either be here or up there in heaven" Lucy said pulling me closer to her "I love you tam I hope you know that"Lucy said "I know mum"I said finishing off my ice cream as soon as I finished i jumped into Lucy's arm knocking over her ice cream pot it went on the floor I looked down sad I moved away from Lucy and put my chin in the edge of the sofa Lucy pulled me into her arms and hugged me tightly
"it's not your fault baby come here"Lucy said pulling me closer "I made you drop your ice cream"I said sad "baby it's just ice cream I don't need it plus I can get more later okay your what I need right now not some cheap ice cream"Lucy said kissing my head "okay love you"I said snuggling into her "love you too baby"mum said ruffing up my hair "mum"I said giggling trying to smooth it back down "see there's that amazing smile of yours"Lucy said smiling at me "can we make something that you like to make up for the ice cream?"I asked "how about cookies you're favourite" Lucy said "mum I said what you like not me"I said laughing "who said I don't I like my own cookies there so good come on i know there your favourite thing to eat let make them"Lucy said taking my hand and leading me to the kitchen.
I helped her make the dough then after we gut cinnamon on the cookies and ate some they tasted really good we took them back to the sofa and ate them whilst watching the film Lucy had fell asleep I went in my room and got out the money I had it was only like £4 but it was enough to get Lucy something I slipped out the door and walked to a shop I bought Lucy's favourite ice cream and walked back home when I opened the door I saw Lucy crying and pacing in the kitchen "mum?"I asked scared
"oh thank god baby you scared me so much you can't just disappear like that"Lucy said hugging me "I'm sorry I bought you ice cream since I spilled yours"I said handing Lucy her ice cream "baby I said we could get it later how did you pay for it?"she asked "I used my money"I said smiling "oh tam"Lucy said pulling me into a hug "how about we go shop now and get more snacks and we can get more hot chocolate powder for us"Lucy said I nodded we went to the shop and got a ton of snacks and food shopping we went home and out everything away then we made a big tray of snacks and had a movie marathon we ate the snacks and they were amazing then we ate our ice cream again Lucy put some on my nose I laughed and wiped it away "mum stop that's so cold"I said giggling
after a little bit it was time to go bed I relaxed for a bit then I needed sleep so I snuck out of bed and into Lucy's room I got in her bed and lay on her chest "love you tam go sleep"Lucy said rubbing my back "love you too mum"I said moving more into her arms and off her chest I fell asleep quickly.
The next day was Sunday we went back to Angela's because she invited us over for a roast dinner Angela was cutting veg and Lucy was helping her by peeling the potatoes I ran in from the living room and past Angela but I nudged her and the knife slipped and sliced her hand open it started to bleed and I freaked out "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm really sorry I didn't mean to I'm so sorry"I said moving back Lucy grabbed a towel and used it to put pressure on Angela's hand I fell back and started gasping for air "tam baby breathe it's okay your not in trouble it was an accident you didn't mean to okay just breathe"Lucy said looking at me concerned she dabbed the blood away from Angela's hand then she put cream on the cut and bandaged it she came over to me and hugged me I started to calm down a little they finished making tea and we sat at the table I was just playing with my food but then I ate it all I put my plate and cutlery in the sink then I ran to Lucy's car and sat in the back I heard the car door open "tam whats going on are you okay?"Lucy asked I nodded "I'm fine I just feel bad about the accident with Angela can we just go home please"I begged Lucy nodded "let me just go say bye to Angela okay"Lucy said I nodded "and you can sit in the passenger side if you want tam I already told you it was an accident there's no reason for me to give you a punishment okay I'd never do that I promise"Lucy said I nodded I sat in the front the drive home was quiet I just went to my room and fell asleep and for the first time in what felt like forever I slept alone in my bed all night the next day I didn't speak much I just kept looking at Angela's injured hand Angela must of noticed because she looked at me "Tamara you okay?"she said I nodded "you know im not angry at you right accidents happen it was an accident you didn't mean to do it"she said softly I looked away from her "Tamara it's not your fault"she reassured me "It is I nudged you while running to Lucy then you cut your hand open so it is it is my fault"I said breaking down to the floor and sobbing Lucy came over and picked me up placing me on the sofa "get some rest baby"Lucy said kissing my head I fell asleep.
