⚠️TW⚠️ (3rd Person POV) The next morning Tamara managed to get out of bed and she was trying her hardest to walk but she kept stumbling and almost collapsing then after multiple attempts at walking she took a few steps then immediately collapsed hitting her head on the corner of the desk on the way down she cried out in pain as she felt warm liquid running down her face she couldn't even get back up Lucy heard the thud and ran into Tamara's room "oh my god Tamara baby here let me help"Lucy lifted Tamara up and set her back in her bed then she went and got the med kit she wiped over the gash on Tamara's head causing Tamara to wince in pain and try push Lucy's hands away with her own shaking "tam I know it hurts honey but it'll only take a minute okay"Lucy told Tamara as she began to wipe around the gash again then she applied cream and put a big plaster over the gash "mummy why can't I walk that good now?"tamara asked sad "because the chemo is making you better but it's making your bones go kinda numb but after your all better you'll be able to walk again okay"Lucy told Tamara "I guess can you help me walk to the kitchen so I can help you make lunch?" Tamara asked "of course"Lucy replied taking Tamara's hand and slowly walking backwards as Tamara took small steps she was shaking a lot and kept leaning towards different sides she had only just made it out of her room after ten minutes of baby steps she just stopped and held onto the wall "you okay tam?"Lucy asked "yea i just need a minute this is so irritating i can hardly walk"Tamara told Lucy expressing her emotions "I know it is tam do you want to continue walking to the kitchen?"lucy asked "yea"Tamara said as she took Lucy's hands again.
They started to walk towards the kitchen then Tamara told Lucy she wanted to try walk by herself she managed to take a few steps before almost falling but Lucy caught her and helped her onto the chair Lucy had placed by the cooker so Tamara wouldn't have to waste her energy standing they made some pasta together Lucy boiled the pasta and made the sauce whilst Tamara cut up the bacon and chicken then they all sat at the table eating including Tamara who was trying her hardest to eat it she managed half the bowl before putting it down she got off the chair and held onto anything that she could so she could make it to the kitchen and get drink she started to put herself some juice but her hands were shaking and she couldn't keep pouring straight it kept spilling everywhere Lucy was walking in and saw how frustrated Tamara was getting she moved the cup and juice away and hugged Tamara "tam what's wrong?"lucy asked "my hands are shaking and I can't even pour myself a drink"Tamara said sad and annoyed "it's okay darling I'll get this cleaned up and pour you one okay here sit back on the chair"Lucy said softly as she helped Tamara sit in the seat by the cooker she then proceeded to clean the spilt juice up and pour Tamara a cup but Tamara was struggling to sip the juice so Lucy gave Tamara straw Tamara drank the juice then asked Lucy to help her to the bathroom so she could pee Lucy helped her to the bathroom then took Tamara back to her room Tamara fell asleep and Lucy went out to Tim "Tim I really think we should get her a phone"Lucy told Tim "I mean she's hardly been able to do stuff and it's annoying her so much and she's so unhappy"Lucy said adding on "okay how about i quickly go out now and get a wheelchair first then you can keep her distracted by giving her a bath and doing her hair then when u come back we'll get her into something comfortable and put her in the wheelchair so we can push her around and she can choose her own phone and case"Tim said confidently "Okay yea that's a good idea the wheelchair can help her around in the house as-well"Lucy told Tim Tim set off to the store whilst Lucy went in Tamara's room and took tam to the bathroom she bathed her then quickly did her hair in braids again Tim arrived back a half hour later with the wheelchair Tamara looked shocked and excited at the wheelchair "what do you think kiddo?"tim asked tamara as he helped her into it she used the wheels to move forward then backwards "it's amazing"Tamara said happily "I'm glad because your going to need this for your next surprise"Lucy said as she wheeled Tamara to the car and got her strapped in they arrived at the mall and Tim helped Tamara into the wheelchair and pushed her inside Lucy following closely behind them They arrived at the tech store and went inside "Tam this is your next surprise you get to pick your own phone and phone case"Lucy said as she watched Tamara get excited they spent an hour looking at the phones and cases then she finally decided on this phone:

Lucy paid and they headed back home spending the rest of the evening setting up Tamara's phone and downloading her apps then Lucy added her number as-well Tim's number to the phone then she left Tamara to play with it and explore her phone more The next morning Tamara was able to get herself into the wheelchair and wheel herself into the kitchen she was managed to find a pancake recipe on her phone she got out the needed equipment and started to make the batter then she was flipping the pancake and putting the bacon in the grill on a tray she watched her phone and heard the oven beeping she didn't want it to burn so she quickly grabbed the tray forgetting to put on the oven mitts she felt the tray burning her hand she quickly dropped it and clutched her hands together then she looked down too see a red line on the centre of both palms she let out a cry of pain and heard Tim and Lucy rush in the kitchen Lucy quickly wheeled Tamara away from the cooker Tim picked up the tray with a tea towel and placed it on top of the oven "tam what happened?"Lucy asked "I'm really sorry I was doing so good I made breakfast and I was watching my phone when I heard the oven beeping i didn't want the bacon to burn so i quickly grabbed the tray and I forgot to put on the oven mitts so I burned my hands"Tamara told Lucy "here let me see tam"Lucy told Tamara as she held out her hand Tamara rested the backs of her hands on Lucy's palm Lucy looked at the burns "oh tam let's get these in bandages maybe you should try stay away from the oven for now okay you keep getting hurt and I don't want you getting hurt okay"Lucy told Tamara "yea i know but I didn't mean to I was just trying to do something nice"Tamara said sadly "I know tam but the only thing that matters is that you get better and if you keep getting hurt it might even make your cancer worse" Lucy told Tamara seriously.
