(Lucy's POV)
As the next few days passed I tried to find out more about Tamara's childhood but she would get too scared every time I mentioned it then one night she finally told me about it about some of her childhood she said about her parents,there friends and the r@pes i tried getting her to continue her sessions with Luna but she refused she resorted back to hurting herself and i knew it was hard for her i decided to try talk to her i knocked on her door "Tamara can i come in?"i asked "sure"i heard her reply i opened the door and she was just lay on her bed staring at the ceiling i sat on her bed next to her "tam how are you doing?"i asked "im doing okay"she said "i just wanted to come in and say I know you don't like talking about what happened to you when you were little but i need you to know that you can trust me and tell me anything you want okay"I told her she nodded
"i would say about it but every time I speak about my childhood I get nightmares and like memories resurfacing and it's scary"she told me
"I know it's scary but it'll be more scary if you go through it alone especially when you have someone you know can help and I can help but you just need to let me in sometimes"I told her pulling her into a hug.
"If I told you and I got nightmares could i maybe sleep with you in your bed like before?"she asked scared "of course you can even if you didn't have a nightmare but didn't want to be alone you could come sleep in my bed okay I'm here don't forget that"I told her she nodded "and maybe if you let us we could get Luna to help she specialises in this stuff and could help"I told Tamara she just nodded "I guess we could but maybe after a while I don't really trust anyone else but you right now"she said smiling "of course we can wait okay now what should we have for tea"I asked "could we get Chinese food again we haven't had that in ages and it tastes so good"she asked excited I nodded "I'll go order us some"I said leaving her room.
I ordered the food then put it on plates "Tamara dinners ready!"I called out setting our plates and drinks on the table she came out and sat at the table I quickly noticed that there were fresh cuts on one of her wrists as she reached over for the salt "baby after tea can I take a look at those cuts they look infected"I told her she nodded "I guess just no hospitals please"she begged "okay no hospitals but if there really bad I'll get my friend Bailey to come look at them okay"I told her she nodded.
(Tamara's POV)
Me and Lucy finished eating our food then Lucy asked to look at my cuts "oh wow yea these don't look good at all tam I'm gonna get Bailey to come over and take a look okay"she told me I just nodded i went to my room and sat on my bed whilst mum rang Bailey about 10 minutes later I heard mum call out "tam baileys here!"she said I walked out my room and went into the living room where baileys medical bag was on the coffee table and she had the gurney in the living room too "hi Tamara can you come sit on the gurney for me?"she asked I shook my head no "can I just sit on the sofa?"I asked "it would really be better if you were on the gurney"she said I just got up on the gurney and sat down "can I take a look at your arms?"she asked I nodded i slowly pulled off my hoodie.
She took a look at the cuts "some seem infected I'm just going to apply some cream onto them okay"she said I nodded she put the cream on the them then she bandaged them "did you cut on your legs too?"she asked I nodded "yes but mainly on my thighs"I told her "can you maybe put some shorts on so I can take a look at them?"she asked i nodded I changed my shorts then sat on the gurney again "good job tamara,can you lie back for me?"bailey asked i nodded and lay back she pulled up my shorts and I felt her finger tracing around the cuts "they seem okay I'm just gonna put some cream on them too so they don't have a chance to become infected"she said I nodded "also whilst I'm here let me take those stitches out now"Bailey said I just looked at Lucy then Bailey and nodded she used some tweezers to pull out each stitch it hurt a little but not much then she put cream on my hand too she wrapped a bandage around it after she finished I got off the gurney and pulled my hoodie back on "can I go bed now?"I asked tired Lucy nodded "go ahead she told me I went into Lucy's room and took off my hoodie I put on one of Lucy's and got in her bed I lay under the duvet then I heard the front door shut and Lucy's bedroom door open a little more Lucy came in and got in the bed I moved into her arms and finally settled before falling asleep
The next morning I let mum braid my hair then we headed to the station so mum could work i sat on the sofa wearing mums hoodie it's was comfy and warm I saw Angela glancing at my hand "is your hand better now?"angela asked I nodded "Bailey took the stitches out yesterday and it doesn't feel sore anymore"I told her she seemed almost relieved and continued with her work then it was lunch we went to the food trucks and got some lunch Angela got nachos and a burger I got some fries and Lucy got a burrito she looked like she was enjoying it and it looked really good "mum tomorrow for lunch can I get one of those"I asked pointing at her burrito "do you want to try some?"she asked I nodded she tore off a bit of the burrito and I ate it "that tastes really good"I told her "if your still hungry I can get you one now"Lucy said I nodded she went and got me a burrito and I ate it then Mum and Angela finished there shifts then me and Lucy headed home I went to my room and watched my phone then I sat at my desk and thought about everything bad I saw the letters I'd wrote before I opened them and changed parts in it I lay them on my bed and snuck into mums room I lay in her bed and hugged her "I love you mum"I said moving closer "love you too"I heard her whisper back I smiled I waited until her eyes closed then I got out the bed I hugged mum one more time then i went into my room I put on some joggers and pulled on mums baggy hoodie I got the bl@de from the bathroom and rolled up my sleeves I sl!ced my wrists a few times deep then my thr0at I fell to the floor with a big thud I felt drowsy 'it's working!'I thought as I felt myself dozing off I heard footsteps and my bedroom door opened Lucy came in "shit"she said quickly lowering herself down to me she pulled my head into her lap "baby stay awake"she said as i heard her dial some numbers and then there was sirens "i love you mum"i said as I felt my eyes shut i felt her kiss my head "i love you too baby more than you could ever know"Lucy said i smiled and felt my eyes shut.
