(Lucy's POV)
Yesterday was a bad day for Tamara she got tim snd after I saw how guilty she felt about it her eyes wandering to meet Tim's gaze then she would look back at her hands I felt bad too tho the next day we were called to a crime scene we arrived and got out it was a girl the same age as Tamara they'd covered her body apart from her face but I saw Tamara get emotional when she saw who was lay there dead
she ran to me and hugged me "mummy mummy that's becca"she sobbed I lifted her up "oh baby I'm so sorry "what happened to her?"she asked sad "she was killed in going to go find out come on "Angela how did the girl die?"I asked "umm well the medical examiner said there's bruising on her body and her vaginal area and she had a drug in her system it was a rape drug so we think she was snatched,drugged,
r@ped,then we found water in her lungs so she wasn't killed here there's sand in her hair and her hack has rock imprints we're assuming she was killed over there"Angela said as she pointed out to the water "did she die quickly atleast?"I asked but Angela shook her head no "the medical examiner said she was drowning for 6 hours before she died"Angela said "and the worst thing is we don't have a I'd for her"Angela says covering her up Tamara turned around "her names Rebecca Price she told me we was friends at the facility we were across the hall from each other she liked being called becca for short tho"Tamara said "I'll try find some family so we can inform them off her death"Angela said and I heard Tamara crying again I swayed her back and fourth and took her to the car and put her inside I went back over to Angela and we were talking about the case.
30 minutes later I saw a car coming down the road swerving a lot the car hit the back of my car and the back of my car went busted a man stepped out "THATS MY KID!"I yelled running to the back door I pried it open and Tamara was impaled in the stomach by large pieces of glass I held her neck and head firmly and waited until the ambulance arrived they rushed Tamara to surgery and I was sat in the waiting room Angela came finish in a minute later "any news"she asked I shook my head no
"what if that man killed her"I said "then that man better pray I don't get a hold of him"she said
a few hours passed and we got lead to Tamara's room she seemed so hurt I sat next to her and gently pushed the hair out her face hey eyes opened and she looked down "mum?what's happening?"she asked "there was a drunk driver he hit the back of my car whilst I was near the crime scene with Angela and you was in the back of the car asleep he got you pretty good they had to do a surgery on your stomach but I think it'll heal soon okay"I told her "can you carry me I'm so tired"she asked pouring her lips and reaching up I lifted her up and swayed her again I placed her back in bed and held her hand "I wonder if tim would even care about tam if he knew she just got injured"I said looking at Angela but she was invested in her phone.
"Apparently Tamara wasn't the only one to have surgery today tim had surgery on his back someone shot him "what is he okay?"I asked "he's awake if you wanna come for a minute whilst she's asleep"Angela said I nodded we entered his room and he just said he was fine and that he didn't want me there so I told him Tamara got hit by a car and had surgery but she was stable and sleeping before I left his room I went into Tamara's room and held her hand she woke back up and asked if we could go home yet I told her we couldn't but if she needed anything I could go grab it she asked me to get some of her pens and colouring books then she asked if I could get her ice cream I agreed so I got the stuff and brought it to her I also got her an baggy jumper to put over her gown so she wasn't cold so helped her put it on and then she ate some ice cream but then she saw Angela and tim in the opposite hospital room "mum why is Tim in hospital?"she asked scared "he's okay I promise he got shot in his back"I said and she looked at him then her ice cream "mum can I give him some ice cream it always makes me feel better"she asked so I nodded she got a pot and scooped ice cream into it she walked into his room and placed the pot on the table over his lap "ice cream always made me feel better maybe it will make you feel better"Tamara said as she smiled at Tim then I got her wrapped up back in bed she did some of her colouring books then put them on the table and fell asleep I kissed her head and then sat scrolling on my phone I saw it was 7pm so I ordered take out for me and tam and I ordered Tim's meal by habit I set the food up in tams room then I took tims meal to him "I know this seems weird but I ordered food and by habit I ordered your meal and i thought you could probably use a good meal"I said placing it on his table and then leaving back to Tamara's room I woke her up and got her to eat her meal then she drank her Coca Cola before doing some of her colouring book then she went on her phone for a few hours before falling back asleep.
