(3rd Person POV)
The week flew by and Tamara went with Lucy to get her chemo as Tim had to go do his shift they arrived at the hospital and Tamara had her chemo then they did some tests and said they'd have to keep her in for the week so they could do more chemo Tamara was annoyed and sad about it so Lucy asked Tim to get Tamara's favourite ice cream because Lucy knew despite all the times Tamara couldn't eat she was always able to eat ice cream it was the one thing that made Tamara happy during her chemo Tamara was connected up to a few machines then the doctors came in and started trying to do tests but Tamara didn't like being poked at all she started to shove there hands away and cry as they were still trying to do their tests
Lucy took Tamara's hands and held them so the doctors could do the tests Lucy gently moved the hair out of Tamara's face and stroked her hair hoping to make tam calmer it worked and the doctors finished their tests "alright I'm all finished I'm just going to go run these labs and get the results"the doctor said as he left the room "mummy can you come lie next to me I'm sleepy?"tamara said as she yawned and patted next to her "of course baby"Lucy said as she climbed in the bed next to her Tamara snuggled into Lucy's side her head nestling perfectly on Lucy's chest
"i love you mummy"Tamara whispered as she fell asleep "love you too tam"Lucy whispered back
Two hours later Tamara's machine started to beep and a doctor came rushing in with an oxygen machine the doctor placed it at the tip of her nose and tucked it behind her ears then bringing the small tubing to the front of her Tamara woke up at the strange feeling and pulled it away "Tamara you have to keep it in your oxygen levels are really low"the doctor told Tamara as she placed back in the tip of her nose but Tamara didn't listen she tried to take it out again but the doctor held it in "Tamara you have to leave it in or I'll be forced to restrain you so it can stay in"the doctor told Tamara before he left the room Tamara just lay back hoping to get some rest after a while she fell asleep a few hours later she woke up again and saw Lucy was asleep Tamara pulled off the oxygen tube and chucked it into the floor then she curled into a ball and slipped into Lucy's arms then another few hours passed lucy awoke the doctor came in to check on Tamara and saw she didn't have the oxygen tube on
"Tamara I warned you"the doctor told Tamara as he reached for the restraints on the side Tamara immediately moved back "don't put them on me!"she yelled "I told you if you didn't kept it on then I'd have to restrain you"the doctor told Tamara as he connected the restraints to the bed and restrained Tamara before changing the oxygen tube out for a mask and putting it over Tamara's nose and mouth the doctor left and Tim arrived with ice cream for Tamara "hey guys you okay why's Tamara restrained?"tim said confused
"she wasn't keeping on her oxygen tube so the doctor restrained her and changed the tube out for that mask so she can get oxygen better"Lucy said "I really want them off"Tamara told them "what if you promise to keep on the mask?"tim said "I don't like the mask I'll wear the tube again tho i promise I'll keep it on"Tamara said looking at Lucy then Tim
They got a doctor and Tamara was unrestrained and had the mask changed out for a tube Tim gave Tamara her ice cream and she opened the pot and started to happily eat the ice cream she finished all of the ice cream and then lay down and fell asleep as the week passed Tamara had chemo every evening and then at the end of the week she was aloud to go home they went home and spent the evening on the sofa when Tim started to sneeze and cough he got up and went to his and Lucy's bedroom he stayed in there until the next morning when Lucy came in she had a high temp and was coughing whilst also about to vomit Lucy rung Angela
-"hey Luce you okay?"Angela asked
-"not really me and Tim are sick and need somewhere for tam to stay until we're better and I was hoping you'd look after her at yours"Lucy said
-"yea of course I'll come get her now"Angela said before hanging up they heard the front door open and Tamara's muffled voice asking Angela what was happening as panic rushed through her Tamara ran to Lucy and Tim's room knocking on the door "mummy daddy are you in there?"tamara asked scared "yes baby we're here we're just sick you need to go with Angela okay"Lucy told tam "no I want to stay with you I'm really sorry of if I misbehaved I won't do it again don't send me away"Tamara begged them
"Darling you didn't do anything wrong we really are just sick and can't risk making your cancer worse okay"Lucy said "mummy can I at-least hug you before I have to go"Tamara asked "baby I can't you'll get sick but if you stand back I'll open the door so you know we're okay yea"Lucy told Tamara "okay I'm standing back"Tamara said she saw the bedroom door open and saw an opportunity she quickly ran in and hugged Lucy tightly Angela quickly rushed in trying to separate Tamara from Lucy but Tamara clung tightly onto Lucy "get off me I need mummy!"tamara shouted at Angela as she managed to pull Tamara away and take her to the car "I hate you!"tamara yelled as she glared angrily at Angela "why are you taking me away from them what did I do wrong did I not behave they don't look sick there lying aren't they I bet you know they're lying to me too you're probably just taking me to foster care!"tamara yelled at Angela "Tamara I promise there not lying they are sick and I am taking you to mine okay"Angela told Tamara they arrived at Angela's and Tamara realised they'd forgotten her wheelchair and her legs were aching a lot "Angela can you carry me in my legs are aching so bad "Tamara asked Angela "of course Angela carried Tamara inside the house and Kay her on the sofa Tamara just buried her face in a pillow and started to cry a lot her body started aching again
"Angela can I ring mummy?"tamara asked sad
"Yea of course go ahead"Angela said tamara face timed Lucy "hey tam you okay baby you look like you've been crying"Lucy asked Tamara "no my body hurts I really want to come home and have a cuddle with you"Tamara said "I know tam but me and Tim will be better soon okay"Lucy told Tamara "I hope so can you stay on call with me please so its like I'm at home still?"Tamara asked lucy "yea of course tam you should try fake a nap they always help okay I'll talk to Angela while you sleep okay"Lucy said "okay night mummy"Tamara said yawning as she fell asleep
Angela stayed on call with Lucy until Tamara woke up again then Tamara chatted to Lucy for a few more hours before they both said goodnight and Lucy hung up the second the call ended Tamara started to cry again she saw Angela asleep next to her and she cuddled up into her arms and fell asleep.
