A Community in Motion

The dome's latest expansion had injected new energy into the sanctuary. The greenhouses and farmland were not only a boon to their resources but also a symbol of the dome's responsiveness and care. The people inside the sanctuary began to view the dome not just as a shield, but as a partner in their survival.

The next morning, Harry stood near the new farmland, observing as teams of volunteers worked together to plant additional crops and organize the greenhouses. Neville was in his element, directing groups with a confidence Harry hadn't seen before.

"Keep the spacing even," Neville called out to a group planting seeds. "And make sure the soil stays aerated. We'll have more than enough by the next harvest if we do this right."

Expanding the Work Teams

Harry moved toward the greenhouse cluster, where Luna was gently guiding a team through the care of the more exotic plants.

"This one," she said, gesturing to a large, glowing vine with golden leaves, "needs a lot of attention. It reacts to the emotions around it, so only the calmest hands should handle it."

A young witch raised her hand nervously. "I can try."

"Lovely," Luna said with a serene smile. "Just hum something soothing while you work. It helps."

Harry lingered for a moment, watching as the group grew more confident under Luna's guidance. She had a way of bringing out the best in people, her whimsical perspective making even the most daunting tasks feel manageable.

Draco approached, a clipboard in hand and his usual sharp expression softened slightly by the excitement in the air.

"The additional farmland is a game changer," he said. "Percy's already drawing up ration plans for the next few months. If this keeps up, we'll actually have reserves."

"Reserves," Harry repeated, the word feeling foreign on his tongue. For so long, they had been living hand to mouth. The thought of having more than enough was almost too good to believe.

Draco smirked. "Don't look so surprised, Potter. For once, things are actually going in our favor."

New Arrivals, New Challenges

At the gatehouse, Michael and Hannah were processing another wave of newcomers. The dome's expansions had not gone unnoticed, and the number of people arriving daily had grown significantly.

"This is the fifth group today," Hannah said as Harry arrived to check on the process.

The newcomers—a mix of wizards, witches, and Muggle-borns—looked exhausted but relieved. They carried what little they had managed to salvage, their eyes wide as they took in the warmth and safety of the dome.

Michael handed Harry a parchment listing their names and origins. "They're from Scotland. Said their village was overtaken by frost last week. They've been wandering ever since."

Harry nodded, his gaze sweeping over the group. "We'll find a place for them. Make sure they're taken to the new houses near the farmland. They'll feel safer there."

As the newcomers were led away, Harry turned to Hannah. "How's the gatehouse holding up?"

"We're managing," Hannah replied. "But if the numbers keep increasing, we might need to expand again—or set up a second intake point, like you mentioned before."

"I'll talk to Grintok about it," Harry said.

A Sense of Belonging

By midday, the marketplace was bustling as usual, the laughter of children mingling with the chatter of shoppers. Fred and George's shop had a new window display featuring enchanted frost-ward trinkets, while Clara's bakery had a line stretching halfway down the street.

Harry walked through the crowd, greeting people as he passed. The sense of community was palpable, and for the first time in a long while, Harry felt a glimmer of hope that this sanctuary could truly become something lasting.

As he reached the edge of the marketplace, he spotted Percy and Draco deep in conversation.

"The numbers are only going up," Percy was saying. "We need to start planning for another layer of housing now."

"I agree," Draco said, tapping his clipboard. "But we'll need more materials. Another supply run is inevitable."

"Add it to the list," Harry said, stepping into the conversation.

Nightfall Reflections

As the day wound down, Harry found himself back at the astrology tower, looking out over the sanctuary. The new farmland and greenhouses shimmered faintly in the moonlight, their presence a testament to the dome's magic.

Luna appeared beside him, her expression serene as always.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" she said softly.

Harry nodded. "It is. But it's a lot to manage. Every day, there's something new. More people, more needs..."

"And more hope," Luna added, her gaze distant but warm. "The dome is growing because we are. It believes in us, Harry."

Harry looked at her, a small smile tugging at his lips. "You've said that before."

"Because it's true," Luna said. "And as long as we keep believing in each other, the dome will keep believing in us."

Harry turned back to the view, her words settling something inside him. The frost was still out there, waiting, relentless.

But inside the dome, they were thriving.

And they would face whatever came next, together.
