The day after the first official meeting of the Global Sanctuary Alliance, Harry gathered his core team in the Great Hall. The success of the meeting had left him energized but aware that their work was far from over.
Seated at the long table were Luna, Neville, Percy, Draco, Fred, George, and Dudley, each of them poring over notes, maps, and supply manifests.
"The meeting was a good start," Harry began, his voice steady. "But if we're going to make this alliance work, we need to act quickly. The frost isn't slowing down, and neither can we."
The Plan for Expansion
Neville pointed to a map of the sanctuaries. "The new sanctuaries are growing, but they're vulnerable. They need resources and guidance to stabilize."
"Agreed," Percy said, tapping his quill against his parchment. "We'll need to organize supply lines and send experienced people to help set up their systems. Especially for food, defense, and medicine."
Draco leaned back in his chair, his sharp gaze on Harry. "And the Black Tower? It's the source of all this, isn't it? While we're building, it's still out there—looming."
Harry nodded. "We'll deal with the tower, but we can't rush in without being prepared. For now, our focus has to be on strengthening the alliance. The stronger we are, the better chance we have when the time comes."
Food and Supplies
The first priority was food. With the dome expanding and providing abundant crops, Hogwarts had become the central hub for feeding the sanctuaries.
Neville outlined his plan. "We'll increase production in the greenhouses and farmland. The extra land the dome has given us will allow for even more planting. I'll coordinate with the agriculture teams across the sanctuaries to share best practices."
Fred grinned. "And we'll take care of the packaging. You need enchanted crates that can keep food fresh and protected, right? Consider it done."
George added, "And maybe we throw in a surprise or two. Imagine opening a crate of potatoes and finding a warming charm that heats the whole room."
Luna smiled. "That would lift spirits. Survival isn't just about resources—it's about hope."
Defensive Measures
Draco took the lead on defense. "The frost creatures aren't just a threat—they're evolving. We need to share what we've learned about fighting them."
"Agreed," Harry said. "The Reflection Crystals and Frostheart Crystals could be game-changers. If we can forge weapons and shields using those, we'll be better equipped."
Fred and George exchanged a glance. "We've been working on prototypes," Fred said. "Small shields with Reflection Crystals embedded in them. They can deflect spells—and possibly frost attacks."
George nodded. "And enchanted arrows tipped with Frostheart shards. If the frost creatures like the cold, maybe we can turn it against them."
Draco smirked. "I hate to admit it, but that's not a terrible idea. Let's test them."
Communication Improvements
Percy proposed expanding the communication network further. "The mirrors are working well, but we need backup systems in case they fail. Maybe enchanted parchments that allow for written messages to be sent instantly?"
Luna nodded. "We could also use owls enchanted to travel faster and farther. They'd be a good fallback."
"We'll need a central hub for all communication," Percy continued. "Hogwarts can serve as the main relay point, but we should appoint coordinators in each sanctuary to keep things organized."
Harry agreed. "Do it. The stronger our communication, the faster we can respond to emergencies."
A New Mission
As the meeting progressed, Harry's gaze drifted toward the map of the sanctuaries. A thought struck him, one that sent a chill down his spine.
"The frost isn't spreading evenly," he said, tracing a finger along the edges of the frost-covered regions. "Some areas are advancing faster than others. I think the Black Tower is targeting specific regions."
Luna's expression grew serious. "It's testing us. Trying to find our weaknesses."
"Then we need to find out why," Harry said firmly. "I'm sending a team back into the tower. We need more answers—and more resources if we're going to stay ahead of this."
The room fell silent, the weight of his words sinking in.
Draco broke the silence. "When do we leave?"
The alliance was growing stronger, but so was the frost's threat. As Harry looked around the table at his determined team, he felt a renewed sense of purpose.
The fight wasn't just about survival—it was about reclaiming their future. And with the Global Sanctuary Alliance at their side, Harry knew they had a chance.
The Black Tower wouldn't wait, and neither would they.
