Preparing for the Return

The opalescent crystal had left a mark on the team. Its visions lingered in their minds as Harry and the others gathered in the strategy room, maps of the Black Tower and the sanctuary spread before them. The echo of the ancient voice seemed to fill the air: "The frost consumes all. The heart must be returned."

"Returning to the tower isn't just a choice now—it's a necessity," Harry said, breaking the silence. "The frost isn't spreading randomly. It's connected to the tower, and this crystal is a part of whatever's driving it."

Draco leaned against the table, his arms crossed. "We barely made it out last time. The creatures are evolving, and the deeper we go, the worse it gets. We need to be smarter about this."

Neville nodded. "And more prepared. If we're looking for the other pieces of the heart, we need to assume the tower will fight back harder."

Enlisting Help

Harry looked around the room at his core team—Luna, Neville, Draco, Fred, and George—but his gaze lingered on Percy, who had joined them for the meeting.

"Percy, I want you to help organize supplies and logistics," Harry said. "If anything happens to us, the sanctuary needs to keep running."

Percy adjusted his glasses, his face serious. "You can count on me. I'll make sure everything's ready if you need backup—or if the worst happens."

Fred and George exchanged a glance. "Are you sure you don't want to come along, Percy?" Fred teased. "We could use someone to keep the creatures' paperwork in order."

Percy rolled his eyes. "I'll leave the heroics to you lot."

Luna smiled softly. "We'll need the sanctuary strong while we're gone. Percy's role is just as important as ours."

Gathering Resources

The rest of the day was spent preparing for the mission. The team moved between the sanctuary's key facilities, gathering the tools and enchantments they would need.

Nigrum Anima: The team retrieved enhanced gear from the experimental lab. Each member was outfitted with Shadowsteel-reinforced armor, Frostveil-enhanced cloaks, and amulets embedded with Heartstone fragments for healing and morale.Potions Storage: Luna and Neville worked with the healers to pack antidotes, energy-restoring potions, and enhanced frost resistance elixirs.Weapons Testing Area: Fred and George added their own creations to the mix, including enchanted traps, explosive spheres, and Frostheart-tipped arrows.

"We've got enough gear to take on an army," George said, inspecting a crate of traps.

Fred grinned. "Let's hope we don't have to."

Strategic Planning

In the evening, the team gathered in the astronomy tower to finalize their strategy. The maps of the Black Tower, based on their previous explorations, were spread across the table.

"We know the tower changes," Harry said, tracing a path on the map. "But it always seems to guide us toward something. If the crystal was part of its core, the rest of it has to be deeper in."

Neville pointed to a blank area on the map. "We haven't explored this section yet. It could be where the other pieces are."

Draco frowned. "It's also uncharted territory. We'll be walking blind."

"That's why we'll stay together," Harry said. "No one goes off on their own. If anything feels wrong, we pull back."

A Quiet Moment

As the team dispersed to prepare for the morning, Harry lingered by the map, his thoughts heavy. The responsibility of leading not just the mission but the entire sanctuary weighed on him.

Luna approached quietly, her silvery eyes thoughtful. "You're worried," she said softly.

Harry sighed. "Always. If we're wrong about this—if the crystal isn't the key—then we're wasting precious time while the frost spreads."

Luna placed a hand on his arm. "The tower has tested us before, but it's also given us the tools we need. Trust your instincts, Harry. They've brought us this far."

He managed a small smile. "Thanks, Luna."

As the sanctuary settled into the stillness of the night, Harry gazed out at the shimmering dome. The morning would bring new challenges and dangers, but he was ready.

The Black Tower awaited, its secrets guarded and its dangers growing. But Harry and his team were determined to face it head-on—no matter what lay within.
