It was early morning when the reports came in: two new dungeons had appeared in the UK, both unlike anything they had encountered before. Harry sat in his office, a stack of parchment in front of him as Draco summarized the findings.
"The first dungeon appeared near the Lake District," Draco said, pointing to a map. "Scouts who entered said the interior is filled with what can only be described as exotic food. Magical fruits, rare meats, even pastries that seem to replenish themselves after being eaten."
"Fascinating," Luna mused, sitting cross-legged in a chair. "A dungeon that feeds you. Almost sounds too good to be true."
Draco nodded. "That's exactly the concern. While the food seems harmless, there's no telling what kind of dangers might be lurking deeper inside."
"And the second dungeon?" Harry asked, glancing at another report.
Draco's expression turned more serious. "This one is in Wales, near an old castle ruin. Inside, the walls are lined with relics and artifacts—some of which our scouts say are imbued with powerful magic. It's like the dungeon is a treasure trove for sects or cults. The magic surrounding the artifacts is old, Harry. Really old."
Harry leaned back in his chair, his brow furrowed in thought. "Two completely different dungeons, but both could be invaluable. Food is always a priority, and those artifacts might hold the key to understanding more about the dungeons themselves."
Organizing the Teams
Later that morning, Harry convened a meeting with his core team in the Great Hall to discuss the strategy for exploring the new dungeons.
"The food dungeon sounds like a trap," Neville said, his arms crossed. "What if the food is cursed, or eating it binds you to the dungeon somehow?"
Luna tilted her head. "It could also be a blessing. If we can safely harvest the food, it could help us feed the sanctuary—and the other sanctuaries, too."
"I agree," Harry said. "But we won't know for sure until we send a team in to investigate."
Draco tapped his quill against his notebook. "And the artifact dungeon? That's an even bigger risk. If those relics are as powerful as the scouts think, other groups—maybe even the Ministry—might try to claim them first."
"We'll need to move quickly," Percy added, adjusting his glasses. "We can't afford to let anyone else get there before us."
Harry nodded. "We'll send teams to both dungeons, fully equipped. The food dungeon will need researchers and harvesters, while the artifact dungeon will need fighters and magical scholars. Luna, Draco, and Neville—help assemble the teams. Percy, get the equipment ready."
The Teams Depart
By midday, the two teams were ready.
The team heading to the food dungeon consisted of researchers, herbologists, and a few combat-trained individuals for protection. They carried enchanted containers to preserve any food samples they collected.
The team for the artifact dungeon included seasoned fighters, curse-breakers, and magical scholars. Their goal was to document and secure as many relics as possible without triggering any traps.
Harry stood by the sanctuary's main gate, watching as the teams prepared to leave. "Be careful," he told them. "And report back as soon as you have anything."
The leaders of both teams nodded before stepping through the bubble and vanishing into the wider world.
The Food Dungeon
The team arrived at the entrance of the food dungeon, a large, ornate archway carved into the side of a mountain. The air inside was filled with the tantalizing scent of roasted meats, fresh bread, and ripe fruits.
As they ventured deeper, they found tables laden with dishes that seemed untouched by time. Magical fruits glowed softly in the dim light, while steaming bowls of soup replenished themselves as soon as they were emptied.
"This is incredible," one of the researchers whispered, carefully placing a glowing fruit into an enchanted container.
"Focus," the team leader warned. "Take what we need and document everything. We don't know what's safe yet."
Deeper inside, they encountered their first challenge: enchanted beasts guarding the more exotic foods. The team fought carefully, using their magic and wits to subdue the creatures without damaging the food.
The Artifact Dungeon
Meanwhile, the artifact team approached the entrance of the second dungeon, a crumbling castle overgrown with vines. Inside, the air was thick with magic, and the walls were lined with relics—ancient weapons, glowing amulets, and mysterious scrolls.
The curse-breakers worked quickly, disabling traps and wards as they went. One of the fighters picked up a jeweled dagger, its blade shimmering faintly.
"This thing's enchanted," he said, holding it up. "Feels like it could cut through anything."
"Don't touch anything unless it's cleared," the team leader snapped. "We don't want to trigger a chain reaction."
At the center of the dungeon, they found a massive, glowing orb surrounded by inscriptions in a forgotten language. One of the scholars gasped. "This could be a key to understanding the dungeons themselves."
"Take notes and get it secured," the leader ordered. "We're bringing everything back to Harry."
Harry's Anticipation
Back at the sanctuary, Harry waited anxiously for news from both teams. When the first reports came in, his curiosity only deepened.
The food dungeon seemed to hold endless supplies of magical ingredients, but the enchanted beasts hinted at a deeper mystery. The artifact dungeon, meanwhile, promised unparalleled insights into ancient magic—but also posed significant risks.
As Harry reviewed the initial findings, he couldn't help but feel a growing sense of excitement. These dungeons were unlike anything they had encountered before, and they could hold the key to strengthening the sanctuary and uncovering the true purpose of the dungeons.
For now, though, all Harry could do was wait for the teams to return and reveal the full extent of their discoveries.
