I groan softly as I click the stop button on my alarm. I look at the time and see that it's 7 AM. I sigh sitting up, but I soon Yelp as I'm snatched back into bed. I look back and see Ramin with a small pout. I chuckle softly turning to face him.
"Mhm you know the drill, I have work" I say kissing his head.
"No you don't, not today you don't." He mumbles.
"Yes...I do" I state getting ready to stand. He let's out a low growl and snatches me back into bed.
"No." He says lowly pulling me back into an iron grip.
"Baby I have to work. I own the place I can't just sit at home all day."
"They'll be fine. One day without you won't ruin the place." He responds. I sigh knowing I won't win the battle. I text my assistant telling her she'll have to manage without me today. Ramin chuckles deeply into my neck.
I sigh. "Calling off last minute isn't funny Ramin." I say in annoyance.
"Aww baby don't be like that. If they can't manage one day without you, then you should fire them all." He coos in my ear softly. I can't help but love him even in my annoyance. I roll my eyes though and attempt to pull from his grip. "Nope your staying right here for at least another hour." He speaks again.
"Fine" I mumble.
"Mmm, it's cute you think you had a choice." He responds kissing my neck softly. I roll my eyes, this time visibly. He smacks my thigh causing me to yelp. He lets out a low chuckle.
"Meanie" I say.
"I'm the meanie and your the one rolling your eyes?" He states.
"You made me miss work" I respond.
"Mhm because your husband is much much more important than some stupid job." He says pulling me impossibly closer.
"It's not stupid and I have to work." I sigh out.
"I don't even know why you do. I make enough money for the both of us." He say kissing my jaw.
"Because I don't want to feel lazy. Not that being a housewife is lazy because it can be extremely rough, buuuut id much rather have a job out the house that I'm being paid for." I state.
"Mm makes sense." He responds.
