Vivian (POV):

"How likely do you think it is that Aurora is my daughter's mate?" I asked Sophie as we waited in the foyer for Aurora and Jayden to arrive.

"You noticed that too huh?" Sophie smirked as she laced our fingers together.

Over the short time since Aurora had arrived I had picked up on subtle hints that Aurora may be Jayden's mate. The two constantly gravitated towards one another, not to mention the way the two looked at each other. It was like watching Sophie and myself fall in love all over again. To say I was excited for my daughter was an understatement. After finding out Jayden was a Lycan I had been worried that it would be even more difficult for her to find her mate. Especially since I never felt entirely safe venturing outside of the castle. There was always this extreme anxiety that would take over my body anytime we would leave the castle grounds. Seth thought that maybe something had happened in my past that was triggering these anxiety attacks. However with the loss of my memories there wasn't a way to find out what was triggering my anxiety.

"Would you be okay with Aurora being Jayden's mate?" Sophie asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Of course, although I think I would like to speak to Aurora about everything that happened prior to Jayden's birth. I really want to figure out what's causing these damn anxiety attacks I keep having. I haven't fully decided whether or not I trust Gabriela enough to let her into my mind." I let out a sigh, I really did want to get to the bottom of what was causing my anxiety. Quite honestly I was annoyed that I hadn't thought to speak to Aurora about this sooner.

"I can't believe I didn't think of that! Wait, why did you wait so long to talk to her about it?" Sophie looked confused and I mean I couldn't blame her. I should have mentioned it the day Aurora had arrived.

"Honestly after seeing her and Jayden together the thought kind of slipped my mind. Plus we haven't had to go anywhere recently so I haven't had a full blown anxiety attack recently."

"Well my love I think that's a great idea. I'm sure she will be able to fill in all the gaps you have. Speaking of which, those two are definitely mates." Sophie smirked as her eyes locked on the two women entering from the other side of the room.

Jayden was slightly behind Aurora, her larger frame was almost pressed up against Aurora's back. It was as if Jayden was trying to protect the smaller woman from any potential dangers. The way the two moved together was as though they were in sync with one another. Although as I looked closer I noticed Aurora's eyes were glued to the ground. She had a slight frown on her face that was barely noticeable unless you looked closely.

"Is everything okay Aurora?" I asked as the two joined us.

"Oh uh yeah I'm just not feeling too great." She smiled slightly but anyone who was paying attention could tell the smile was forced.

"Sophie, would you mind escorting Aurora back to her room? I'm sure she can meet Violet and Alice later if she's feeling a bit better." I asked placing my hand on the small of my mates back.

"Of course my love." Sophie replied before turning to Aurora. "Did you want to stop by the medical center? I'm sure Seth could take a quick look at you if you'd like."

"No thank you, I think I just need to lay down for a bit." Aurora said with a small smile.

"I'll come by to check on you after I show Violet and Alice around." Aurora gave a small nod while Jayden's hand rested on Aurora's lower back.

There was a slight tension in the room as Sophie moved to escort Aurora back to her suite. Jayden had a slight frown on her face as she watched Aurora leave the room. There was clearly something going on between the two women but I knew better than to push my daughter into telling me what was happening. Jayden never did too well to people trying to pry information out of her.
