Jayden (POV):
The morning sun warmed my skin as I stretched across my bed. A sigh of satisfaction fell from my lips as I sunk back into the mattress. As I looked over at Aurora my mind drifted back to the night before. After everyone had gone inside my mates and I spent an hour enjoying one another's company around the fire. Getting to cuddle up to the four women was by far the best moment in my life so far. While we cuddled we discussed how we wanted to move forward in regards to mating.
Personally I was okay with waiting a bit longer, I hadn't even kissed all my mates yet and I needed that to happen before going further. Aurora said she would wait until I was ready before mating with any of us. Violet and Alice on the other hand were eager to complete their bond. Which didn't surprise me they had been together for 25 years, it was almost more surprising that Jasmine had mated with Alice first. Now that Alice and Jasmine were mated there had been a shift in the dynamic between us.
Seeing the two Alpha's interact with one another was captivating. Jasmine, who was basically a bull in a china shop, was more relaxed now. The raven haired woman now hung more in the background as Alice took the leader roll. Every now and then they would switch and Alice would take a step back. The fact that they had managed to get to this point in 48 hours was quite impressive given how difficult Jasmine had been. Both women had decided they would each take an Omega for the night giving me the option to decide who I spent the night with. Now none of us wanted to split up but given the sleeping situation mixed with the fact that Alice was now here there wasn't a bed big enough for the five of us.
After an hour of debating I decided to spend the night with Aurora and Jasmine in my new room. Alice and Violet stayed in Aurora's room claiming they didn't want to disturb anyone in the main house. Seeing as they could have spent the night in the basement. Jasmine raised a good point that if they were to stay in the basement the whole house might hear them completing their mate bond. Not that I personally would have a problem with that, however my family might not enjoy listening to it.
As I stretched again beneath the sun's rays I felt Aurora stir next to me. The small Omega was nestled between Jasmine and I. Her arm that was draped across my waist tightened slightly and a soft sigh fell from her lips. Gently I dragged my fingertips across her forearm, I followed the intricate patterns of her tattoos until I reached the crease of her elbow. My fingertips froze as she shifted slightly, once she settled I followed the black ink up to her bicep. By the time my fingertips reached her shoulder her eyes began to flutter open. A smile played on her lips as baby blue eyes looked up at me through long lashes.
"Good Morning" I whispered, trying not to disturb Jasmine whose arm was wrapped tightly around Aurora's waist.
"Mmmm Good Morning. How long have you been up for?" Aurora asked as she stretched slightly.
"Not very long, we forgot to close the curtains." I glanced towards where the sun was shining through the small window. "The heat woke me up." I chuckled quietly.
"How are you feeling about going back to the castle tonight?" Aurora said carefully as though gauging my reaction.
"Mmmm I don't really want to think about it right now." I sighed as I rubbed my face. "All I want is to enjoy some time in bed with you and Jazz. After that I'd like to meet up with Alice and Violet for breakfast, then spend the rest of the day with my family."
Aurora gently scooted out from under Jasmine's arm, once freed from Jasmine's embrace she moved to cuddle against my side. Her leg draped over my pelvis as her hand found its way to the base of my neck. Slowly she lifted her body up until her lips were level with my ear. "I could always take your mind off of it." Aurora's tone turned sultry as she took my earlobe between her teeth.
