Fantastic Regression - Joseph Quinn

"How are you feeling, Ossie? Are you ready for today's playdate?", Y/N asked her baby boy as she finished snapping his onesie together and rubbed Joseph's belly soothingly.

"I scawed, Mumma", Joseph let out in barely above a whisper, clear nervousness and a bit of anxiety plastered on his face.

"Why are you scared, baby?", Y/N inquired curiously as she offered her hands to Joseph and helped him sit up on the changing table. She immediately wrapped her arms around Joseph's middle, and he easily let himself melt in his Mumma's embrace.

"I no wan's ma fwiends to see baby me", Joseph revealed to Y/N, causing her face to turn into one full of confusion.

"Why not, Ossie? Did they tell you something to make you feel this way?", Y/N questioned her baby boy worriedly after pulling away from their embrace and cupping his face tenderly. Y/N rubbed her thumbs over Joseph's cheeks and waited patiently for him to reply.

"Nu, dey no say anyfin', Mumma. I jus' wowwied dey feels wei'd wif baby me. I no wan's dem to hates me an' s'op bein' ma fwiends", Joseph explained to Y/N his honest worries about being little for the first time around his 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' co-stars and dear friends. After her baby's revelation, Y/N let out a breath she didn't know she was holding before chuckling softly and smiling lovingly at her baby boy.

"Aw, sweetheart, you don't have to worry about that. Your friends won't feel weird about little you, and they are definitely not going to hate you. Remember, they are little ones too, and they want to spend time with you. You are all going to be little sibbies and have so much fun together", Y/N reassured Joseph as he looked up to his Mumma with glistening eyes.

"You pwomise?", Joseph questioned while lifting his hand and offering his pinky to Y/N.

"I promise, Ossie Bear. Mumma will be with you at all times, and if you want to have some alone little time, I will arrange that. Just give yourself and your friends the chance to be little around each other freely. Everything will be okay, trust me", Y/N reassured Joseph once more while sealing their pinky promise before he nodded in understanding. Y/N kissed Joseph's temple and picked him up before sitting him on her hip and walking out of the nursery and into the living room to meet with Y/N's other babies, and Joseph's little sibbies for today's playdate.

Inside the playpen setup in the room where Pedro and Ebon, playing with their Imaginext dinosaur and pirate figurines, while Vanessa was sitting at a reasonable distance from them, building a puzzle in the company of her comfort stuffie Starlight.

"Hi babydoll. What are you working on?", Y/N asked her baby girl as she and Joseph joined her on the floor. As Y/N settled next to Vanessa, with Joseph sitting on her lap, Joseph just nuzzled further into his Mumma's neck, as if trying to hide from his fellow littles.

"I doin' dis puzzle, Mummy. Wook!", Vanessa told Y/N before showing her the complete safari themed puzzle board that she had been working on for the past few minutes.

"I see. You did so good, my love. I'm so proud of you", Y/N told her baby girl with a smile as she stroked her hair softly. Vanessa just giggled thanks to her Mummy's compliment before getting back to her previous activity, starting this time a new puzzle. "Ossie, would you like to go play over there with Pedro and Ebon?", Y/N asked the baby in her arms, to which Joseph briefly peeked out of his hiding spot and looked towards where Pedro and Ebon were clashing their dinosaurs and pirate ships together, making a big racket. Thanks to the loud sounds, Joseph whimpered scared before nuzzling back on Y/N's neck.

"Nuh, Mumma. Too woud", Joseph replied while shaking his head profusely and holding onto Y/N's t-shirt tightly. Y/N just held him close and rocked them side to side to help appease Joseph's nervous self.
