"Come on, baby love. Why are you crying so much? I already changed your bum, you nursed, I put some comfy clothes on you, you have your binkie. What could you possibly be upset about?", Y/N said out loud, trying to voice any possible reason why Katie shouldn't be upset, all while bouncing her up and down to try and quiet her cries.

"Waaaaahhh", is the only thing that kept coming out of Katie's mouth. Very loud cries, followed by many tears.

"Ssshhh Bubba, it's okay. Mama is here. Please, calm down", Y/N continued to say over and over again, leaving soft kisses on the side of Katie's face while rubbing soothing circles on her back, but that wasn't working because Katie just kept crying. "I wish you could tell me what's going on"

"Maaamaaa, come pway wif me!", Chyler whined to Y/N while tugging her shirt and trying to drag her Mama towards the playpen in the living room.

"I'm sorry, Chy, but your sissy isn't in the best mood right now. I need to figure out what's wrong because she's really little and can't tell me herself, that way I can calm her down before she makes herself sick. Can you please go play in the playpen alone? It'll just be for a little bit", Y/N begged to her other baby girl in a desperate and stressed tone.

"Bu' I wan' Mama...", Chyler whined again before sniffling. "Chu no luv me no mowe", Chyler said with a broken voice before starting to cry herself.

"No, my little Flutterfly. I do love you, that's not why I asked you to go. Please don't cry", Y/N immediately tried to stop Chyler from crying as well, but she was too late. Now she had two crying littles and no clue about what to do to fix this.

Today seemed like a good day, but that was quickly dismissed when Katie started whining and crying and wouldn't let go of Y/N. To her luck, Chyler decided that since her little sister was getting all her Mama's attention, she should request to have it as well, making today a total nightmare. Y/N didn't want to scream or upset both of her babies even more so, she took a deep breath before talking again.

"Let's all just take some deep breaths, okay? Chy, baby, come on. Take some deep breaths with Mama", Y/N suggested while getting a hold of one of Chyler's hands while still carrying a crying Katie. "Breath in...breath out", Y/N started to describe what she was doing so Chyler would copy her. "Again. Breath in...breath out", Y/N continued and eventually Chyler started sniffling while taking some deep breaths to calm down.

Thankfully, seeing the most important people in her life do something together made Katie stop crying loudly and take some deep breaths as well. In difference of Chyler, Katie was still whining while tears kept falling from her eyes, but she wasn't as agitated as before, which was a huge relief for Y/N.

"Good job, my babies. Thank you for calming down", Y/N said before hugging her babies close. "Now, what's going on, Chy? Why do you want to be with Mama so much?"

"I miss chu. I jus' wanna be close to Mama wike sissy", Chyler said in between sniffles against her Mama's chest, and Y/N just sighed, knowing very well that Chyler was a little attention jealous, which was well justified. Y/N loves to take care of her two babies, but whenever one of them is having a hard time, she tends to focus on one more than the other.

"I'm sorry, Chy. Mama didn't mean to make you feel left out. The thing is, baby Katie is really grumpy, and I want to make her happy. But I know I need to check on you too. What can I do to make you happy?", Y/N asked softly and waited for her baby's response.

"Jus' wanna fewl Mama close", Chyler mumbled in a low voice, but Y/N was able to understand what she said. That also got her thinking. How could she make this happen, all while consoling a distressed Katie?
