Today, My family and I are in Hawaii celebrating my sixteen birthday. As of now, Avery and I are walking to a brunch reservation on the sand.
"Baby, I love this dress on you." I twirled her in hand and she smiled. The light blue dress hugged her curves in all the right places.
"Thank you! And I love these pink and yellow hibiscus on your shirt." She complimented and it only made me flush.
I love this girl more and more everyday.
"Nelson Neumann and Avery Leanne?" The waitress stood in a hawaii, tropical suit. "Yes, sir." Avery and I sat on the comfy pillows surrounded by the tiny wooden table. "What can I get you guys started with? Drinks, appetizers?"
"May I have a virgin Pina- Colada, please." Avery smiled up at him. "And may I have the Tropical Blue Mock-tail, please."
"Of course. It will be right up!" The waitress went into the restaurant that was behind the palm trees.
"This is a really nice scenery." Avery looked at the ocean, the sand soft as her skin. "I agree." I looked at her gorgeous side profile. She turned around, the sun shining on her honey hair, "So.. you're sixteen!"
"Yup. Cheers to that!" We picked up our drinks after the waitress had set them down. "Thank you." She looked over to the waiter after our toast and he nodded.
"Of course. What would you guys like to eat today?"
After we ordered, Avery exclaimed, "Your going to really like your gift, Nels." She held my hand over the table.
"Ave! I told you not to get me anything. I also said that my last birthday and.. well that didn't happen." I chuckled. "I know but you're just going to love it! From Cass, Spence, Noah, Niles, and I." She smiled and I just adored her beautiful dimple.

It's the evening of December eighteen, My boyfriend's birthday. Finally, it was time to show Nelson his special gift he's been wanting for a while now.
A Lincoln Nautilus.
"Okay. Avery, on the count of three you can take Nelson's blindfold off." Cassie stood beside her family who as well held their phones, Wagyu taking pictures on his camera.
"Three, two, one!" Everyone counted down and I untied the knot of the cloth.
"Yo!" Nelson exclaimed and immediately hugged each and over one of us. "My dream car!" He turned around to it.
"You deserve it." I smiled and patted his back. "She's all yours." Spencer smiled. "The car.. or Avery?" Niles stood confused. "You're going to be whipping that hoe!" Noah had his hand over his mouth.
"This shit does not feel real." Nelson got in the driver seat and studied the wheel. "Yo!" He again said.
"Remember when we almost crashed?" Noah looked over to Niles and I and we chuckled.
Flashback. Nelson's in the drivers seat, Mama Neumann in the passenger, and Noah, Niles, and I in the back. "And we're off." Niles drank his coffee. "Oh shit!" Nelson pressed on the brakes and put his head in the wheel, laughing. "We almost crashed!" I said. "I got scared!" Nelson said as the car passed by.
"We're in the drive way!" Noah shouted and it made me laugh even more. "We're literally in the drive way and you almost crashed into air!"
"You're not helping, Noah." Nelson used all his strength to turn the wheel again.
End of Flashback.
"I don't know, I just can't believe it." Nelson drove down the road, me in the passenger seat.
"I remember when you were like fourteen. that was what, yesterday?" I laughed. "Best birthday gift ever." He smiled and looked over to me.
"You're the best birthday gift ever. I'm glad to see another year. Another year of us." He kissed me and my heart melted.
