1 week has passed since gaara was rescued from the akatsuki and ever since then pretender's been keeping close tabs on the safety and well-being of all the jinchūrikis.
However more than that he was troubled regarding naruto after aya told him everything about our hero's recent attitude change and how he didn't destroy the jūbi's husk.
It didn't sit well with pretender but knowing there's such a huge power gap separating naruto from others he thought that's why he acted in this way and thus decided to end the matter their without thinking any further ahead however the feeling of uneasiness still didn't left pretender.

(Present day - Foxter residence)
Pretender is peacefully sleeping alongside his 2 beautiful daughters and his wife who slept on the other corner of the bed.
As they all were peacefully sleeping pretender started becoming uncomfortable all of a sudden, Beads of sweat started forming on his face and his breathing also got faster. He grabbed his bedsheets very tightly.

Pretender is floating in a dark void inside his mind and trying to comprehend where he is but suddenly a very grim voice spoke out to him.

The unknown voice spoke and pretender's aura grew ginormously from intense rage and hatred because he instantly recognized the voice which he never wanted to hear again in his life.
"BASTARD!!! WHERE ARE YOU HIDING, SHOW YOURSELF!!!" Pretender shouted angrily.
??? - "Calm yourself mongrel, I only came here to see you but it would seem you have made quite a big happy family in my absence. Amusing for someone who murdered countless innocent lives in cold blood"

"Never, As long as i breathe you will keep on rotting in that prison of yours!!" Pretender shouted and suddenly the fog around him began to take shape and the face of the chaos king formed in front of him.
