I wonder how mum is handling things without me. I feel guilty for coming along. She's doing everything on her own.
I sigh, but continue reading my book as I wait.
I am exhausted. My arms feel floppy. They don't hurt but they are weak.
I roll my eyes.
The goddess lifts her ballgown up, as she runs through the forest, looking tiressly for the Prince, with the frowler chasing her down, making every step shake with the force of its steps. She turns her head around, her eyes widening at the sight. But jumps over a log. As she continues running, she's suddenly pulled back?! Her breath quickens as she turns, seeing her dress caught on a branch. She looks up at the frowler. It's green hand reaching out to her. She flails her dress frantically before it rips sharply. She pants, falling onto her backside, then pulls herself up, running away, with the frowler still chasing after her-
"Ooohh hey Y/n" I turn seeing Kaminari.
"Hello"
"I see you're reading a goddess dynasty" He chuckles. My eyes widen.
"Pardon?"
"The book? I started reading it last night. I am obsessed!! I didn't take you for a romance kinda girl" He smiles. "The book is amazing. I was a bit iffy on it at first. But when the frowlers got mentioned I wassss hooked!! It's sooo romantic. Like get together already! Though I guess they can't cuz the goddess is imortal" He continues rambling on as my eyes widen.
He's reading this?! This is so embarrassing!!
"Aaaah! Pookie bearr!! You look so good! Doesn't she Kaminari?" Ashido chuckles as she walks over. I turn to Kaminari.
"Uh-Yeah, yeah you look nice" He smiles.
He sounds unsure..
"So did you find an internship for after this?" He asks me.
"No" I say remembering the list.
Vlad walks around the room. Handing out our internship list. I got 6... everyone else got at least in the 20s.. I got 6... I hmm,but read through.
"Well u gotta pick sooon. After this we go straight into our internships. Its scary" Ashido chuckles. I nod.
