Y/n pov:

I watch as Kaminari runs to his parents who pull him into a hug. The dad hugs him tightly which makes my heart feel weird. I start fiddling with my fingers.

"DADS THE BEST!!"
"DAD IS THE COOLEST!! AAAAH!!"
"When are we gonna see dad?"
"I miss dad"
"Dad's the coolest"
"Y/n. Mum won't tell me where dad is. Where is he?"
"Dad is obviously out saving people all over the world. Cuz he's the best hero ever!!"

My heart tightens as I stare at the floor.

"This is Y/n" Kaminari says as he walks over to me, zoning back in.

"The Russian girl. We've been dying to meet you sweetie. We're glad ur okay" His mother says.

"It's nice to put the face to the name" The dad chuckles. I nod.

"Denki talks about you so much. He's obsessed with you." His mum says. I raise an eyebrow.

He is?

"MUM DONT SAY THAT!!" Kaminari shouts, then he walks to the car. "Let's go before this gets even more embarrassing" then he gets in the car.

"It's nice to meet you Y/n" His dad says. I look at him as he holds his hand out to me. I look at it before I take it.

"Y/n. Don't tell the kids." Dad says as he holds his hand out to me. I look up at him at his emotionless face. I shake his hand firmly, holding back tears. "You are in cha-"

"What a firm handshake. I like you" His dad says. I nod, pulling my hand away, then he starts walking. I gulp, but follow and sit next to Kaminari in the car.

"So what's you're quirk?" The dad asks.

"I told you already" Kaminari groans.

"Well we wanna hear from her" His mum says. As we start driving.

I hate small talk.

"Invin..I cannot say it."

"Oh sorry deary we didn't mean to embarrass you" His mum says.

"Not embarrassed"

"Okay good. I've heard you got strength as well. That's super cool" His dad says.

I nod.

"Those are some awesome quirks. You're gonna be a cool hero" he says. I nod.

"Thank you"
