😴The Sleeping Silver (Yuu/Silver)

Once again, this is an idea that came from some fanart I saw on tumblr

In the courtyard, Yuuma and Grim were on their way to Sam's shop to help him out with some errands. The cat was especially eager to get them done because that meant a reward in the end.

"Come on, henchmen! The sooner we get the dumb errands done, the sooner I get some tuna!" Grim quickened his pace in excitement, racing ahead of the amused prefect.

Her eyes briefly glanced her surroundings only to come back when she caught a streak of silver shining. The prefect changed her course of direction and walked the opposite of Grim. "Hm? Henchmen?" He stopped walking when he found her footsteps dead silent.

Glancing around, he spotted her and quickly followed her. The cat leaped onto her shoulder, narrowing his eyes at her. "Hey! You're going the wrong way! Sam's shop that way!" He barked it her, but the prefect didn't heed him, and kept walking.

Puzzled, the cat turned to her direction, and his eyes widened in curiosity. Sitting on the bench was Silver. The disamonia student was soundly asleep. He didn't even stir when the bench creaked from Yuu, taking a seat next to him. Her blue eyes stared at him like a child, seeing something for the first time in wonder .

"Wow. Silver can just fall asleep anywhere and anytime." She commented, waving her hand in front of his face, but that didn't even make him flinch. "And I thought Leona was the only sleepy head around. This guy can snooze any day." Grim pointed out, playing with ribbon tied around Silver's shoulder.

Gently grabbing his shoulder, Yuuma gave it a shake, but that didn't even wake him up. Glancing around to make sure no one was watching, she poked his cheeks, but even that did nothing.

"Well, at least Leona can be woken up by anything. He would've bitten my hand off if he caught me doing this." She commented, looking at her feline friend a couple of times as he pawed at the ribbon.

Yuuma wanted to make sure that Grim didn't wake Silver up. Which looked like it when the cat raised a paw, swinging it a little. The prefect eyed him warily, glancing at him and then to Silver. But when she saw that massive grin on his gray furred face and those devious blue eyes, her eyes got huge as plates and realized in horror what he was up to.

"Grim! No!"

Just as he let paw go to take the swing, her hand halted it from landing the hit. "Hey!" He snapped his head to her, staring angrily at a disapproving prefect who glared back at him. "You are not slapping him!" She shouted, forgetting that Silver was here. "If so far what we did didn't wake him up, maybe a slap should do the trick!" He retorted.

"Really? Then, by all means, go ahead and slap him. See what Lilia and Malleus will say when they find out!" She retaliated, though the two failed to notice the white-haired boy stirring. His eyes scrunched before they started blinking.

"Father?"

Barely a whisper, but that got the two to jump from the bench. "Silver!" They both said, startled. Despite his voice being quiet, it contrasted from the loud arguing between the prefect and cat.

"Did Father need something?" He asked, sitting up as his auroral colored eyes opened fully. "Um, no. Sorry, Silver. We found you here sleepy and thought to check on you." Yuuma explained sheepishly. 'I guess loud arguing wakes him up.' She thought in her head.

"I dozed off again? Sigh." Silver shook his head, disappointed in himself that he fell asleep again without realizing it. Glancing his eyes at her, a thought came to his head. "Prefect. Father tells me that you help others solve their problems. Do you perhaps know a way to help me stop dozing off?" He inquired curiously.

Before the prefect could talk, Grim chimed in with an idea in mind. "She won't! But I do! We're going to run errands for Mr. S at his shop. Maybe some hard work will wake ya up! Nyahaha!" He suggested, wearing a wide smile on his face.

The prefect shook her head at him, disappointed. No doubt he was trying to dump the hard work on both her and Silver. "Hmmm, errands for Mr.S. Yes. Maybe if I keep myself busy, it will wake me up. Prefect, do you mind if I accompany you?" He asked her politely. Yuuma had to stifle a giggle from the way he asked. Sometimes, he reminded her of a sleepy child.

"Sure, why not. The more the merrier." She responded. "Woohee!" Grim exclaimed happily, feeling hopeful he would have less work with more hands on deck. "Quick! To the shop!" He ordered and sped off, not bothering to wait for the other two. Yuuma sighed at her friend, shaking her head as Silver stared with a puzzled look.
