Back at the shore, Yuuma was searching through the plants and wildlife on the island. "Stitch. Stiiitch. Where are you hiding?" She sang playfully, pushing aside some palm leaves.

"Heee hee hee." She smirked when she heard that familiar giggle of his. Her eyes glanced behind her, and they spotted two blue ears sticking out amongst the green palm leaves. Grinning to herself, she quietly snuck over to that spot. Her fingers arched, ready to push aside the leaves and catch Stitch. Yuuma then lunged at the leaves, moving them aside as she yelled.

"Aha!"

"Haha!" Stitch jumped on her head and pushed off her, running off as his laughter echoed. The prefect nearly toppled over, but she regained her balance and turned around, chasing the blue runaway. "Stitch! Get back here, ya little troublemaker!" She shouted, trying to catch up to him.

As she turned the corner, Yuuma bumped into something large and firmer. That was definitely not Stitch. She glanced her face up, and her excitement dropped into disappointment when she saw that familair red heart shape mark and red hair.

"Hey, Yuu!" He greeted her happily, smiling awkwardly. She gave him a flat, unamused look on her face, standing back from him

"Trappola."

He winced, and his smile faltered when she called him by his last name coldly. One thing Ace learned that when the prefect was upset with someone and they were talking, she would only call them by their last name unless the problem was resolved.

"So um...where's uh where's Stitch?" He asked, trying to make some conversation with her. He knew he had messed up from earlier. Ace had let his anger and jealousy make him open his mouth and say those sharp words from earlier.

"I don't know. Maybe he ran off when he smelled you coming here." She responded, still upset about earlier.  While he was trying to fix it, Yuuma would prefer an actual apology from him for once. But Ace could be stubborn and not like to admit defeat.

Her blue eyes glanced up and spotted Stitch in the trees, watching the two humans from above. He held his finger out to indicate to keep quiet. The prefect smiled amusingly at him before she looked back at Ace.

"He smelled me?" Ace asked, confused, lifting his upper arm to smell himself. The prefect shook her head, unsurprised by how he misunderstood. "Ugh! You really don't think at all words, do you?" She shot at him, letting that anger from earlier come back, but calmer. Ace stared at her with his brows up and a little frightened.

She was ready to walk past him, but he quickly held his arm out to block her. "Wait! Wait! I'm sorry! There! I said it! I'm sorry." He gave in, hoping to keep her back from walking away. The prefect kept staring at him as she crossed her arms.  A sorry was not gonna convince her that easily. To her, sorry meant nothing.

When he saw she wasn't convinced, he sighed in defeat. While he hated admitting he was wrong, he hated even more when the prefect was upset with him. He wanted the girl who was smiling and messing him and throwing witty remarks at him. Not the one that stared at him in dissappiontment and said his last name in a tone colder than ice. He wanted to see the happy, bright eye Yuuma he met on the first day of school.

He rubbed his neck awkwardly, making eye contact with her. "Ok. I know Stitch didn't mean to drag you down. And I shouldn't have said that comment. I was kind of hoping it would be just you and me surfing. So when the little blue furball came and started getting your attention, I guess I got a little....tiny bit....jealous." he explained, and as he got to the last part, he became more reluctant to admit that but went through it.

However, when he admitted that part, Yuuma felt her face heat up from that confession. While Ace was known to be a hot head and could get jealous pretty easily, she didn't expect to involve her and her attention. Meanwhile, Stitch was watching this, now understanding the situation more. He started to feel less upset and could relate to wanting attention to someone. Especially if it was his dear friend, Lilo. As the two kept talking, Stitch's ears rose at an idea, and he disappeared in the palm leaves of the tree.

"It was dumb I know. But I want to make it up to you. So, could you, me, and Stitch just hang out together? Please? And I'll try to be more careful with my words." He offered her, hoping that was enough to say he felt bad on what he did. He missed both their prescence and time together.

The prefect glanced down, thinking over it for a moment. Her anger had faded, now that she knew why Ace acted like that earlier. And his apology did seem sincere. She glanced at Ace as he looked at her, almost pleadingly.

She smiled at him, holding her hand out to make half a heart shape. "Alright. I forgive you a hot head." She told him. His face brightened, and he smiled wide. His hand went to join hers, completing the heart. It was their kind of handshake in a way. "Alright! Now, let's get to finding Stitch!" He suggested, his confident self returning.

"Haha!"

"Oof!"

SPLASH!

Something blue and strong landed right on Ace, bringing him down to the water. Yuuma shielded herself from the water sprinkling on her, and she looked over, knowing that was Stitch.

"Ace! Ace!" The blue creature exclaimed happily as Ace rolled onto his back against a pool floatie. Once the red head progressed that it was Stitch, he laughed and gladly picked the creature like it was a child. "I take it you forgive me huh, Stitch?" He said, dipping Stitch in the water a few times as the small creature laughed playfully, kicking his feet in the shallow water without fear of drowning.

Yuuma smiled fondly, glad to see her friends getting along. An idea rose in her mind, and she quickly got her ghost camera, snapping a photo of this moment. It caught Ace and Stitch's attention once the camera went off.

The prefect pulled the photo out, smiling out how it came out with Ace holding Stitch, lying on the shore as they played.

Splash!

"Ah!" She squeaked in, surprised when cold water hit her. "Yuuma! Come on!" Ace exclaimed, grabbing her arms. "Yuu! Yuu!" Stitch chanted, climbing onto her back to push her. "Guys! Wait! The camera!" She frantically explained between laughter, and she hurriedly took her camera off to set it on top of a rock to avoid the water before Ace and Stitch finally dragged her into the shore with them.

As they laughed and hit the water, the camera went off again, taking another photo of the three laughing and splashing together in the shore.
