"Sora-chan! Take cover!"

Instructed by Mei as the girl immediately ran backwards and hid herself.

The valkyrie draw her sword and jumps evading a clustered ball of honkai.

"It looks different from before."

The dragon roared as Mei again evaded it after the calamity beast tried to crush her with it's claws.

Sharpening her Katana, dashing forward she leapt above and attempted to strike it down by giving multiple cuts.

But Benares won't stand by, as Mei got on top of it's body, the dragon to wiggle to force Mei out.

Having no other choice, the valkyrie got down and realizes that attempting to bring it down is impossible for her.

"Mei-san look out!" Sora yelled alerting the valkyrie, as a bunch of lightning strike from different angles that almost hit her. 

She was blown away because, and as she got her head up, the dragon roared it's mouth filled with low temperature.

Mei rolls away avoiding it's breathe capable of freezing a person alive. She gasped and slowly got up and got on a stance.

A painful sensation was felt around her head as the thunder claps, which her attention was shifted and was starting to feel dizzy at this moment.

"Things aren't looking so good! This beast... is more stronger than before!"

With no other choice. Mei ran back and grabbed and jumped below avoiding the claws of Benares when it soared through the sky chasing them.

"It's coming after us!"

Mei stands firm despite the burden of pain in her head, obligated to protect the kid no matter what.

"Sora! Get down!"

In just a nick of time, a familiar voice called out to her and does what that woman said. Mei also followed along, and noticed a person filled with bloodlust approaching them.

A huge claw scratched the dragon's face, as it recoiled back giving an allowance of space for their rescuer to arrive.

Even Mei gasped to see the familiar person who saved them. The design of her cloaked hood gave it away that easily... "A... Aren't you?."

Without even glancing back... Raven gave a direct order. "Raiden Mei, take Sora out of here to somewhere safe."

"I'll buy you two some time."

Raven attacked with top notch speed and continue to aggro the dragon.

Mei pulls Sora as they started to retreat thanks to an opportunity that Raven gave. However small fries are still in the way as the valkyrie cut those foes down that are an obstacle in their path.

"Sensei... She's back."

"That woman... Is your sensei?" Mei was surprised to hear Sora said that.

"Yes..." She replied and somehow have detected that Mei is a bit off when she saw the merc. "Do you happen to know each other?"

The girl remained silent not answering that, as there have been bad blood between the two back at Arc.

When they got back at the shelter, the two sighed in relief as they were able to safely escape from the calamity beast.

"We should be safe here..." Mei huffs and scanned the surroundings to find her companion. "Dr. Tesla's not here... Where could she be?"

"I've been waiting for you... Raiden Mei..."
