The next day came and it was time for breakfast, Mei arrived to Kiana's room and sets the tray down for her.
"Wow... Curry~" Kiana's eyes beamed with excitement.
Wasting no time she devoured the food like there's no tomorrow. Mei giggles as she sees her friend enjoying her cooking.
"I really missed Mei-senpai's cooking~"
"Now, now no need to rush." Mei hands her a glass of water in which, it was the right time since Kiana just gobbled them up and hasn't chewed the meat into bits, making it stuck in her throat.
She coughs, and drank the entire glass, a massive sigh left as she can finally breathe normally.
"See, I told you." Mei gently scolded her, in which Kiana laughs awkwardly from her actions.
Mei then turned serious, as she picks up the plate. "The Hyperion will be here shortly to pick you up and transfer you to AE's base... You must behave and follow their instructions Kiana-chan."
"Mhm, I will... They are good people." She nodded as Mei smiles and walks to the doorway.
"Get some rest, I'll be doing the dishes now."
Mei left as Kiana noticed something was bugging her friend's mind, though it was pretty much obvious she is against of detaining Kiana, robbing the freedom away from her.
There were three taps on the wall, in which Shiro knocked, he showed himself in, with a bag on his back.
Kiana noticed this and nods. The man enters and grabs a chair set it down beside Kiana.
"What? You're going to go camping at this kind of moment?" Kiana firstly initiated the conversation, in which Shiro lightly chuckled.
"Well, you can say that." He silently answered, his gaze not directed to hers as he is hesitating of talking his plans for the future.
"Go..."
He raised his head up and looks at Kiana who is just smiling at him.
"You knew all about it?"
"Well Dr. Tesla told me last night." She answered in which Shiro clicked his tongue annoyed knowing Tesla just literally blabbered this out instead of keeping it quiet.
"I see, are you not against it?"
Kiana shook her head. "No, I understand why you made that decision." Then she greatly grabbed his hand. "But are you not pushing yourself too much?" She asked concerned if he is alright.
"I can take care of myself, plus you are going to be okay... I promise." Shiro replied staying true to his word.
"Shiro... Thank you..." She gently spoke. "But, I wanted you to stay, here with me and Mei-senpai... Can't you just do that?"
She pleaded using those puppy dog eyes again, but as of now Shiro got used to it. "No can do, time is on the move now."
He lifted her hand off her and stood up, once he turned to leave.
...
He was stopped, as Kiana lunged and hugged him from behind.
"As i thought... I really don't want you to leave." She quietly stated... "You mean so much to me Shiro..."
The man's eyes grew wide, a new feeling of sensation swelled in his chest. He can't explain of what he felt, but one thing tells him, that she matters most to him.
And he would do everything to save her no matter what.
"As i thought... I really can't live without her anymore."
