(S2) The Sensei

"We're nearly there."

The pink haired girl Sora said as she led the two ladies to her home.

But Shiro was not with them, and this pisses Tesla more off than the usual one. After all he ignored her advice once again.

Earlier

"Sorry you two... But i can't let this guy roam free no matter what." Shiro stated reporting his current status after acquiring a valuable information moments after coming back outside to investigate.

"Huh?! Quit joking around! We need you back here ASAP!" Tesla yelled at the top of her lungs as the man covered his ear.

"This is crucial, if i don't take care of this as soon as possible. He's going to get in our way."

This puzzled the two women having no ideas what he's talking about. "Mei-san, I'm counting on you."

Comms went dark after he said that. They lack information and Shiro never disclosed of what he got.

Not to mention he is in a bit of a haste.

Present

"We'll just have to proceed without him for now." Tesla sighed and as they exit the canal.

The place called Roost surprised both their very eyes. A paradise for the weak and needed.

It's like a version of the slums. Yet their environment is safe and clean.

When Mei talked to Sora earlier. The pink haired girl told that this is the Roost, and currently her sensei is incharge of keeping the place intact.

But Sora said that it kept bugging her. That the sensei kept leaving and comes back for 1-2 months to replenish their supply.

Which doesn't make sense for Tesla, if that sensei is capable of traveling to a very far place, why hasn't she decided to take the kids with her.

Confused, Tesla couldn't find any reason why, and it's just a pain in the ass when it comes to time management.

She put that aside as they finally made it inside the Roosts. "So this is their home."

"The shelters built here doesn't have much of a foundation of support. They must have gotten help outside with this Sensei she talked about."

Tesla said after observing the shelters, and that could not last for long. And can only keep them safe above the flood for just a short period of time.

"We must ask who this sensei is." Mei said as she and Tesla approached Tesla who were having a talk of what happened.

"Oh hey you two..." Sora acknowledged the Anti-Entropy agents. "I told everyone you saved me. The Roost welcomes you."

Mei crouched down and look at Sora's face. "Sora, can you tell us more about your sensei?"

Sora nods. "Of course. Sensei owns the roost and she saved everyone here. she's also very beautiful." Sora described even though the last part wasn't necessary.

"She built this place three years ago. Sensei is not often here but she always return here with food and strange presents."

"And when she's gone. We'd pretty much be out in the city scavenging around there maybe supplies we can find useful."

Mei had a concerned look when the girl mentioned about going out to the city. "Isn't that a bit dangerous?"

"Oh don't worry, because Sensei created a safe zone. Some doesn't like scavenging, but they got used to it, after all we have to survive and pull ourselves through."
