(S2) Crossing The Finish Line

Yu: I decided that the next sea of quanta update will be Bronya's last POV, after this the story should go back to Kiana. As time takes up a lot of for me to update.

"Welcome back. Bronya."

The boy greeted as the girl almost lost her footing after completing the second trial.

Lifting her head, the person was none other than Joachim. "Seele?"

Beside her was the small floating diary, to which she felt once again knowing the presence of her close friend is with her.

Noticing something changed. She gasped as the space around them started to get distorted. Ruins, and rubbles shattered. Scattered around like small planets. "It's... Collapsing?"

"That's right Bronya... It is because i am a part of this maze... A remnant left behind by Welt Yang."

The kid turned around observing the space around them. "You are powerful Bronya to have come this far... And that's why you must therefore know the truth."

This is what Bronya was waiting for, the truth all in strange world. "What exactly happened in the Sea of Quanta?"

"..." Joachim paused for a bit, as if he's either nervous of telling her. Or that's a sign that Bronya must ready for the truth.

"Welt Yang fought till his final breath in the sea of quanta..."

Bronya continued to be silent as she processed this kind of news. For a long time the AE's has been finding answers of his disappearance.

"He risked his life facing a strong enemy. Welt fought everything he had. Only to create a barrier, separating the sea and the real world..."

"A barrier?"

Then Joachim confirmed what he meant by it. "You have already witnessed and experienced it already Bronya..." Then he points the finger at the sky, to which she started to understand now.

"The barrier are those trials... And it was all possible to be created not only by the Herrscher of Reason's core. But Welt's strong will...

"All of this was created to stop the serpent... And also to show that he is still yearning for hope."

Joachim then extended his hand toward the edge of a platform and a portal appeared. "This is the third test Bronya."

The boy gave a serious look as if saying out of all the trials that Bronya took. The last one will be the hardest. "Tread carefully, and do not deceived by it's lies. And once you got through the labyrinth... I'll be there to guide you to the Core of Reason. And it will be your key to enter the sea."

Bronya nods and slowly steps her foot forward, as her limb slowly phased through.

"But... Do not hold it for long, for it will destroy your physical form."

Advised by Joachim as the valkyrie paused and replied. "The Bronya will do so.'

"And one last thing... Do not let the serpent out no matter what." One last warning by Joachim.

"The Bronya understands, the world sepernt is Bronya's enemy."

As the girl stepped into the portal. All her senses were cut off. Just like what happened, the girl still couldn't get used to this situation.

No... Any human wouldn't after all, it feels like you have almost drowned and waking up feels like you have just experienced the walk towards the ends of the earth.
