The Herrscher of Thunder got up and slowly looked around, clueless of what happened.
When she came fully to her sense, Mei remembered of the sudden appearance of the old man, and also that she was set up by Owl.
Her comm device slowly came back to life, as she can then hear Raven's weak voice. "Raven?! What happened?!"
"Owl... He betrayed us..." Mei can hear Raven's voice struggling to speak and that is having trouble breathing. "I don't know... He used the scepters on you, and then stabbed me in the back..."
"No.. but more importantly he took my divine key, and my mentor... is working with him."
"Are you alright?" Mei asked concerned as the merc felt a bit happy to see the herrscher worried, considering the past month the she and her are like bitches in a fight.
"To be honest, not very well. He laced the knife with some kind of toxin."
"Listen..." Raven changed the subject. "Don't worry about helping me, you must chase them down... Don't let them escape with that herrscher... and be careful of Ryo... He is too strong for you... Do not... underestimate him." The merc warned her about Ana's father.
"I understand... Take care of yourself..."
"One last thing..." Raven said before losing consciousness. "Durandal... she's... she's heading to your position right now."
Mei then heard echoes of footsteps heading towards her, then caught a glimpse of the blonde valkyrie, as it is already too late.
"Raiden Mei... Can you still fight?"
"Yes..." Mei nodded with a simple answer. "Then follow me... Time is of the essence." Bianka said as she lead the way their advisor has got a last ping from the herrscher of Ice.

"Ana!"
Owl met up with the herrcsher as Ryo turned to see the boy who helped him take Ana back to their side. "You did well kid." The old man said praising him, even though it's against his will.
The joints of Owl's metallic skeleton creaked as he stiffly walked across the icy garden. " We met again... Ana" Hearing his voice, the herrscher raised her head, the gaze shifted towards him.
She hovered towards him. The frozen beds of flower melted, allowing time to flow once again. "I did not expect for us... To meet like this." Owl's voice is shaky, not because of fear but very much happy to see her, despite the current circumstances. "Hnngh... grhhh... ugh..." Ana could only let out a painful groan... Ryo who was listening to their reunion made his heart ache very painful.
Owl then took out a glittering pendant from his pocket... It gave off a warm glow that contrasted against his cold, metallic body. "Ana... Do you still remember this pendant?"
The herrscher's eyes grew wide, as she let out another painful groan. "Ack... Urk... grahh..."
"Do you still have the other half?" He asked her. "Did you lose it?" Then he laughs as back in their days, she is the careless type. "You were always the klutz one."
"I see. So you have the other half." Ryo spoke and also took out the half of it, which is wrapped in a clean warmth cloth.
Ryo could see that Owl is very determined to throw away his life just to protect Ana Schariac... He understood that they have formed bonds from the past... Thus his worries was set apart.
