"Mr. Chen Tianwu, we have the results of your physical exam... I'm afraid that..." The valkyrie paused hesitant to report but the Chen gave a nod to let her continue.
"I'm sorry to inform you that your body has been severely infected due to prolonged exposure to the Honkai."
"Two more years is that all you have left... If you are lucky."
"Two years... Huh?" The boy chuckled and mumbled. "Life's a bitch huh?"
Then he changed the subject. "Do you have any news about my sister?"
"She's not on the list... We are still looking for survivors." She shook her head. "We're doing all we can but."
"Yeah... I know." The harsh reality sets in as he interrupted the Valkyrie before letting her finish.
"Is there anything else?"
Owl tried to mouth the words, but he paused to not burden the Valkyrie anymore.
"No, nothing else..."

"Ana... I want you to know."
Owl faced the Herrscher as if the world only revolves around those two. "That I've already lost everything on that day."
"My normal life... and my little sister."
"I don't even know what I did to deserve all that. Afterwards... Nothing else matter, everything became meaningless."
Ana stared at the boy, as the man let out a sad smile. "For that I embarked on a self-destructive path..."
"There was despair...helplessness...acceptance... and then longing."
He reached his hand forward reaching out to her. "You became the last beacon of my hope... I wanted for us to meet again... To start over."
"That's why I studied the Honkai, Schicksal, anything that is related and linked to you... I wished and found a way for me to see you in person." The boy clenched his fist telling her that he did everything he can just for a selfish wish.
"I joined the World Serpent and became an officer... And then I found you."
"Though it was my wish to see you once again. I was scared to see you Ana."
"I killed a lot of people just to reach this goal, and my body was no longer human, my life will be ending soon too."
"That's why I thought I could see you again even from just a distance. Though dreams and realities struck me, knowing that it's impossible."
Then Owl grabbed a mysterious core that appeared from thin air. "I don't even know that I should thank or hate you."
Owl smiles as the mindless Herrscher reached her warms hands and caressed his cheek. "But I know for sure that you saved me back then."
"That is why... In return. I offer my life to you..."
Slowly the core began merged with Ana. "Take it all from me... Use my powers for your sake... and please... Live on."
