As she walked along the dark corridors, her thoughts snapped when a mysterious voice greeted her.
It was Jackal, their head researcher, and just by seeing this woman gives Mei bad taste on her taste buds. "I mentioned, that I am not to disturbed."
"Don't be so mean." Jackal replied with a hint of sarcasm. "We're supposed to be friends and we must get along."
"Ufufu... I really want for us to get along."
Mei sighed disgusted, she knew that Jackal only wants her to be studies as she is the herrscher of thunder, and only is interested because of her power.
"Stop wasting time Jackal."
From the shadow emerged was Raven who seems to be not in a good mood as well.
"And here I thought we are friends as well." Jackal fake sobbed irritating the assassin.
Though Mei noticed something was up and Raven's mood is a lot different from the past few days. "Something happened?"
"Just recently i got word that same of our agents disappeared with no traces left behind."
"Isn't that the 4th week just now?" Mei asked as this concern was handled to Raven who was literally stressed out.
She was trying to figure out of who that assailant is, the only hints she got is that the they aren't from Schicksal or one of Mei's friends.
Once more is that she knew what kind of methods and techniques were used, almost she is too familiar with it.
"Could it be..." She was lost in thought.
"Well your such a spoiler..." Jackal shrugged her arms and got back to the main subject. "For the time being. It is now your time to put your power for use Raiden Mei."

The Captain and vice-captain of the Immortal Blades have been mobilized by the overseer.
Currently they are investigating the missing agents of World Serpent and teams of valkyries that went missing for the past month.
These are orders from the overseer himself.
"Rita. Have you found any clues."
The maid picked up a mysterious throwing knife and slowly inspected it. "Looks like our suspect left in a hurry and wasn't able to clean up the mess."
