After sheltering Chen Tianwu and Ana Schariac at the Helios...

"As discussed with Einstein... They will be dropped off to one of AE's safehouse for them to be hidden." The captain said while having a video conference with Tesla...

"Tesla, be real with me... Is Kiana doing alright?" Theresa asked taking over the call.

"Stabilized for now..." Tesla rubbed her temples as her jobs kept on growing, not only she has to take care of Kiana, but Shiro as well. "Still under observation though... I cannot make a risk for her to be back in the front lines... And much as I hate to admit this..."

She sighed one of the biggest problem that the scientists needs to keep an eye on. "Shiro will be taking over her spot... He will be the only one man capable of fighting at our side."

"But you did mention... That he is acting off?" The captain asked.

"Yes, for the past days, he kept on murmuring and talking to himself... Much more... His authority is being influenced us."

"Authority?" Theresa tilts her confused, clearly Shiro doesn't act all high and mighty.

Thus Tesla described that when he is greeting the crew... Some of them are scared to respond even though he is just normally talking to them.

They have goosebumps whenever he gets close to him.

"That clearly is not normal..." Einstein said racking her brains for the reason. "Then it must be... That."

After they stopped over a city to resupply.

Kiana is with Ana doing some shopping for their food supply.

"Ana-san, did we bought all of them?"

"Mhm, this should be all." The former valkyries then heads out from the supermarket to meet with the boys.

While on the way... Ana struck up a conversation. "So how did you two and Shiro-san met?"

Kiana closed her eyes then started thinking trying to remember how they first met. "You see... He was in a hospital with a punctured hole in his chest."

"Huh?! And he was still alive after that?!" Ana shocked and yell almost attracting the rest of the civilians.

"Yeah, and when he moved to our dorms... I was so against it... He was a jerk, and very rude, me and Shiro don't even get along."

They stopped at the sidewalk near the pedestrian lane and waited for their light to go green to cross the road.

"Was... right?" Ana smiled as she could feel how much their friendship grew.

"Mhm... When we met back in Arc... I wanted to punish myself... But Shiro insisted that it wasn't my fault. He would stay with me no matter what."

"Honestly... I guess he was only a jerk to me back then because of how i treated him."

Nevertheless, Shiro didn't mind one bit... He never hated her even with all the bad things she did to him.

"I just don't understand how much pain he suffered after Aunt Himeko died."

"Himeko... As in Murata Himeko?" Ana asked as Kiana nods...

The light turned green as the two crossed the road after the vehicles stopped at their lane.
