The following morning on Mt. Taixuan, the weight of the previous night's Chaos resonance still hung in the air, but the morning sun brought a fragile peace. Shiro, Kiana, and Bronya found Lin Zhaoyu waiting for them, her presence as calm and stabilizing as the golden qi she wielded.

Lin Zhaoyu led the trio toward the next phase of their journey. She explained that to truly master one's power and understand Fu Hua the Class Monitor, they had to resonate with the Fenghuang Down feathers scattered across the mountain. These feathers were not just objects; they were vessels of memory and essence.

As they began their search, the resonance of the feathers transported them into the past, revealing the origins of Fu Hua's long, lonely vigil:

They witnessed a younger Fu Hua-then known simply as Hua-living a "normal" school life in the city of Aomichi. She had a friend who teased her and pushed her to be more social, showing a side of the Class Monitor that was full of human warmth and simple desires, like wanting to eat ramen after school.

This warmth was short-lived. A Honkai outbreak devastated Aomichi, turning Hua's classmates into zombies. For the first time, they saw Hua forced to fight to survive, her master-level martial arts already beginning to manifest as she protected her friend from the disaster.

The feathers revealed Hua's recruitment into the Fire MOTHs under the commander Himeko (the predecessor of their own teacher). They saw her during the 12th Herrscher incident, where she had to make the agonizing decision to seal the base's conscious minds to stop a virus-like infection.

And this gave Shiro a bit of PTSD, luckily he kept his poker face trying not to let his team worry.

In a pivotal memory, a weary Hua spoke with Kevin Kaslana amidst the ruins of their civilization. Despite the total defeat of humanity in the Previous Era, they forged a pact: Humanity will surely defeat the Honkai.

Throughout these visions, Lin Zhaoyu acted as their anchor. She watched Shiro closely, sensing the Chaos within him reacting to these ancient tragedies. She shared that the feathers respond to the brittleness" of one's spirit.

"The reason the Chaos resonated so strongly," Lin Zhaoyu explained to Shiro and Kiana, "is because your own power is still 'leaking.' You are trying to carry the weight of the world alone, just as my Master did for five hundred years."

She warned them that if they did not learn to stay human and rely on one another, the memories within the feathers would consume them, just as the Chaos energy had nearly consumed Shiro the night before.

As the sun set over the maple trees, the trio stood in the pavilion. The visions of the past the deaths of Hua's friends, the fall of cities, and her thousands of years of solitude had changed them.

Kiana, looking at the distant peaks, realized that Fu Hua had been trapped in the past for far too long. Shiro, clutching his hand to still the faint violet embers of Kyo's resonance, finally understood that isolation wasn't the answer.

"Then we don't fall," Shiro told his friends, his voice steady. "No more heroic outbursts that put you at risk. We do this as a single unit."

Lin Zhaoyu watched them from the shadows of the temple, a faint smile on her face. The brittleness in their spirits was beginning to heal, replaced by a shared resolve to bring their Class Monitor back home.

"The Bronya suggest that we must prepare, we don't know of what obstacle awaits us to reclaim the final feather."

"As much as I'd like to finish this immediately, you are right." Kiana agreed as it took them 4-5 hours finishing of diving to Fu Hua's memories.
