The weeks had gone by normally. The events after the Sports Festival were nothing short of brain-irritating normalcy that for the first time in his time back in Japan, Izuku had been craving a good fight.
It wasn't this bad during the Sports Festival, what with the spectacle ongoing with the various contestants and him being one of them. But with the inaction over the weeks, along with the lack of spars since most of his classmates were busy preparing for the midterms exam that would take place before their internships, it was no wonder why Izuku was getting antsy.
Sighing on his desk, Izuku slumped down as he groaned out his issues. Said groaning garnered attention from his classmates, most notably, Tsu.
"What's the problem, kero?" She stood in front of him, head tilting to the side for a bit as her frog-like lips exuded curiosity.
"Eh, nothing much. Just itching for a fight." Izuku sighed again. "No offense to all of you, it's just... The spars aren't doing much."
"None taken. I doubt any one of us could take you on, after what you showed in the Sports Festival, kero." She shivered a bit, the memory of the basic fireball that looked like a mini-nuke ingrained deep into her memory. "Just... Don't point your fireballs at any of us, okay?"
"Sure." Izuku shrugged, his nonchalance washing off of him in droves, before he perked up a bit. "Unless, one of you in the class is willing to fight me while using my Pyromancy?"
Immediately, every single person in the class stood ramrod straight as they shook their heads. Hell, even Katsuki wasn't that keen on fighting him when he had a mini-nuke on hand. The sight caused his mood to dampen even more, his head face planted on the desk once more.
Tsu had already gone back to her seat, the frog-like student waiting for the next teacher to arrive, as with his other classmates. Lo and behold, Aizawa arrived with his yellow sleeping bag and told the class to quiet down so he could get some shut eye.
Today was another day... And he hated it...

"Alright class, I have an announcement." Aizawa said as he stepped into the room, coffee in hand.
Another day of monotony, and Izuku was starting to twitch with irritation. However, Aizawa's words made his hopes soar – at least for a moment.. Aizawa usually wasn't one for announcements, but when he did, it was almost always momentous.
"Later this afternoon, we will be going on a trip to one of the facilities in U.A. This will count as your heroic studies for the day." Aizawa said as gulped down a cup of coffee he had brought in one sitting. "Using your hero costumes is non-mandatory, however, we encourage you to use them to get more experience in a rescue environment."
"Wait... Did you say rescue?" Yaoyorozu raised her hand, an inquisitive look on her face.
"Yes." Aizawa nodded dully. "We've mostly been teaching you the basics in combat. What to do when someone wants to punch you, what to do if they have a weapon, etcetera, etcetera... However, the core of being a hero is ultimately, rescue. Saving those in need – whether from external threats or their own reckless decisions. Today will be that day. But take note, even if today is the first time you're all going to be drilled with rescue, don't expect us teachers to make it easy."
His words got the class talking amongst each other, some with bright grins on their faces, and others with slight frowns. Izuku, meanwhile, had his hopes crash down deep into the caverns of his soul as he mourned the loss of some good ol' fist to fist action.
Oh well, at least there was going to be action. Just because it was rescuing people – or robots because he doubted Nezu would allow real live people to be put in dangerous positions just so some brats could learn what not to do while trying to save them – it didn't mean that there wasn't going to be some punching involved.
