"Someone dies or someone gets hurt, But if one of us dies, I hope I die first, 'Cause I don't wanna live without you" Luna sings into the microphone. Today was their second day at Long pond. Taylor had reached out to Finneas letting him know that Luna and her would love to have him help on the song. "Can you run that back?" she asked. Taylor nodded and played it for her.

"How do you like it?" the blonde asked, after she listened to it.

"It's good, when I sing 'I die first' that's where the beats are gonna drop and the drums and guitar are gonna come in" she told her girlfriend. Taylor just smiled at her, seeing her in her element was so amazing to see.

She continued to sing and tweaked the lyrics so it all flowed nicely together, she was really proud of this song. "I think this might be my second favorite song" Taylor smiled, and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh yeah? What's your first one?" Luna grinned, as Taylor pulled her into her lap, as they were in the living room now, done with music stuff for the day.

"I think it goes something like 'You said you like my eyes and you like to make 'em roll' yeah that one is my favorite" Taylor grinned up at the brunette, as a smile tugged on Luna's lips.

"Your bias because that one is about you" she teased, as she ran her hands through Taylors blonde hair.

"You're right, I am." she giggled, as she placed a kiss on her lips.

"Hey fin" Luna sat at the desk in the recording studio, she was on a zoom call with Finneas talking about the song. Taylor had sent him the chorus and first verse of it, so he knew what the theme of the song was.

"Hey Luna! So good to meet you, at least through zoom" he chuckled, Luna laughed as well. "So as you know Taylor sent me what you have so far. I was messing around the other day with some different melodies and stuff and I made this." he had clicked play on the demo he had made.

Piano and a soft guitar sounds start to play through the computer, then his voice starts singing "Out on our own, Dreaming in a world that we both know

Is out of our control, But if shit hits the fan we're not alone, 'Cause you've got me and you know, That I've got you and I know"

"Holy shit, that's amazing fin!" Luna told him once the recording was over, "to be honest with you, that's kinda what i was going for, like soft in the beginning then loud in the middle, then soft at the end."

"Glad to hear it, you and Taylor can work on the vocals, and send them over to me when you're done, I'll put them all together, and send the finished project to you. Then you can let me know if you want anything to be changed." he told her, Luna agreed, and thanked him again for helping her. They said their goodbyes before they hung up.

Luna sat back in the spinning chair letting out a sigh, it was day five of being at Long Pond, and Luna was loving it. She has managed to record most of her songs that she has written, minus the one she's working on with Fin, and her version of Cruel summer.

Luna made her way into the living room where she found Taylor lying on the floor in a mess of papers with different lyrics written out on them. "Are you trying to write a novel or a song, tay?" Luna's voice spooked Taylor as her head shot up from where she was looking at.

"Jesus, make some noise, you scared me" Taylor said, as she got up.

"Sorry for scaring you, baby" Luna walked over to the blonde and gave her a kiss.

"You're alright" she smiled down at her girlfriend, her arm resting around her waist. "How was the zoom call with Finneas?" she asked.

"It was amazing, he has the backing melody done, he said that we can record our vocals whenever and send them to him." Luna told her, "it sounds so good, like what i was imaging it would sound like when i wrote it."
