SPECIAL EPISODE
"I HATE THIS FEELING, BUT I LOVE THIS PART"
▫️▫️...September, 2006...▫️▫️
When the small town in Virginia starts fussing with Founder's day and the celebration of what was accomplished centuries ago, you know it's the season of balls, fancy dinners and all of the possibilities involving the Founders families.
Gilberts, Lockwoods, Forbes, Salvatores and Fells.
Though, the Salvatores are currently out of picture and the only remaining person who carries this name, doesn't participates of those kind of event.
Stepping out of her car, Rosalind walks graciously towards the steps of the Lockwood Mansion, where the current Founder's party is happening.
Wearing a navy blue long dress, with an opening, exposing her right leg. In her feet, a pair of silver colored heels with an anklet. Her hair straightened, falling over her exposed back, her usual necklace and the earrings she got from her mother on her sweet sixteen.
No one could ever dare to deny how marvelous this woman is.
"Rosie!" Carol Lockwood smiles widely as soon as she spot the blonde "Come on in, sweetie"
Rosalind enters through the front door, giving Carol a small hug.
"Hi, Carol!" Rosalind smiles back "It's beautiful here"
"Thank you" Carol points at inside the house "Your parents are chatting with my husband and your siblings probably chasing after the candies"
Rosalind laughs softly, walking further into the house.
She couldn't lie, these type of events are her holy grail. She has always loved it and while the kids were boring and wanting to go home, Rosalind would sit with her parents or accompany them through the whole party. Posing like the perfect lady she is.
The obviously weird and gross thing about her being who she is now, is clearly the change in people's eyes on her.
When she was a kid or even just a few years younger, people would see her as an adorable and smart child. Brilliant and beautiful, but in a child way. Now, the problem though, it's about the nasty stares she gets wherever she's at.
Either envy ones from women or malicious ones from men.
People that were a part of her life ever since she was a baby, now either stare at her with murderous glances or disgusting ones.
The first time she ever noticed this was when leaving the school one day, and one of the parents awaiting to pick up their kid wouldn't stop staring at her like she's a piece of meat.
"Rosie?" a voice slightly startled her.
One of the members of the council, Marcus, approached her holding two glasses of champagne. This is one of those moments she questions about how disgusting people can really be.
"Mr. Ford" she fake smiles "Good evening!"
He offers her one of the glasses.
