"WHEN CAN I SEE YOU AGAIN?"

The beginning of something new not always represents something entirely expected.

The word 'new' is very symbolic in a way. The main reason as to why it's associated to good things, important ones. The ones we've been waiting for so long.

But come now, since when things were even the least normal for Rosalind?

Stopping to think, even before triggering her curse and starting to walk around with vampires, meeting Marcel, living in New Orleans, her life was far from ordinary. In many senses.

After one more death inside the Gilbert's family, she didn't have much of a choice anyway.

Doesn't mean her heart isn't aching for what she's leaving behind. Even if it's just temporary.

Or not.

"Got everything?"

Right now, Rosalind is just finishing loading her bags inside her car.

'Loading', seeing that she's just carrying her own purse while Marcel and the rest of the vampires do the hard work.

"Yep!" she answers "Thank you, guys. Really"

It's a hard goodbye, or temporary one. In a way or another, it hurts to know that she won't be there like she's used to.

Rosalind has a special place in everyone's heart in New Orleans. Just like her heart is big enough to carry all of them with her, wherever she's at.

"Why not bring Little Gilbert and Baby Gilbert to live here?" Diego asks Rosalind.

After Elena and Jeremy spent a week with Rosalind in New Orleans last year, they all started to call them that.

Little Gilbert = Elena.

Baby Gilbert = Jeremy.

No one would ever imagine that one day, Rosalind and Diego would be friends after everything that happened.

Here we are.

Took him a while to admit that he's grown fond of her. And even more time to call her a friend.

But this blonde woman is almost like a drug. The rest you already know.

"They've been through enough changes for 3 reincarnations already. I'm trying to keep things cool for them" Rosalind answers, lying her head on his shoulder when he wrapped his arm around her waist.

Now it's Marcel's time to try and seduce her on staying in New Orleans.

"Don't start, Marcel" she warns him in a funny manner.

He only pouted in response.

"What about you? What you want doesn't count?" he asks.

Rosalind sighs, obviously conflicted with her next steps. What she has to do, even against her own wishes.

"How I am supposed to take them away from school, friends, everything they've ever knew during their lives, bring them to strange place, full of vampires and other types of danger" she glances towards Diego and the rest of the vampires "No offense. Obviously"
