SPECIAL EPISODE
"THERE'S ENOUGH ROOM FOR BOTH"
◽️◽️...February, 2008...◽️◽️
The Mardi Gras traces its origins to ancient pagan festivals celebrating spring and fertility, with the Christian tradition of Lent and the period of indulgence before it also playing a significant role.
In 1703 French settlers in Mobile established the first organized Mardi Gras celebration tradition in what was to become the United States. The first informal mystic society, or krewe, was formed in Mobile in 1711, the Boeuf Gras Society. While Mobile is considered the birthplace of the first organized Mardi Gras celebration in the US, New Orleans is now the most famous location for the event.
This year is Rosalind's first Mardi Gras, and she and Marcel couldn't be more excited. A whole period to party, drink and not care about tomorrow, there's nothing more alike them honestly.
But that doesn't mean she wanted to be woke up at 7 am by Marcel entering her room at the Compound, jumping on her bed.
"Morning, sunshine" Marcel tried to shake her awake.
Groaning, Rosalind only raised her middle finger towards him, hiding her face on the pillows.
Theodore and Hope smiled, remembering that Rosalind and Marcel still do that until these days.
"Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up" he continues, starting to tickle her.
That got a reaction out of her, seeing that she screamed a laugh, slapping his hands away.
She finally acknowledged him, turning around, still with her sleeping mask on, covering her eyes.
"Are you serious?" her eyes covered didn't allow her to turn correctly towards Marcel was.
He turns her towards him correctly by the shoulders, taking the cover out of her eyes.
Huffing, she runs her fingers through her blonde locks, trying to make them less mess.
"Happy Mardi Gras" just to further his promise of annoying her as hell, Marcel messes with her hair again.
"Couldn't have stayed longer inside your coffin?" and there goes her time to annoy him.
'Do you happen to sleep in a coffin?'
"You are one funny lady" he gives her a look.
"And you owe me breakfast" she says, slipping out of the bed, towards the bathroom.
Yes, only wearing a very revealing creamy nightgown.
But on the contrary of the rest of the world, Marcel and Rosalind never looked at each other with that type of attraction.
Two very good looking people? Yes!
And they might've made a deal about getting married if she reaches 30 and is still single? What's the problem in this?
And while 99% of the world would die to see that goddess in nothing but her nightgown, Marcel only sees his best friend, the one that already caught him in very weird and compromising situations.
