Seniors are historically the highest point of a High School. According to every girly movie and cute romance books.

For Rosalind, it's a special moment of her life for many and many reasons.

Cheerleader captain, Head of the committee of Mystic Falls High School, Miss Mystic Falls, Captain of Volleyball and Soccer team, recently applied to start her internships out of Mystic Falls.

It's a golden time.

Another funny and impressive thing of her life right now? Rosalind Gilbert and Mark Gold are an official couple.

Believe it or not.

Grayson didn't like it, at first.

There was a first date and even reluctantly, Rosalind had to admit that it was perfect. Every detail he planned, even the choice of background music and her favorite dishes, which she wasn't even aware he knew about it.

A date, turned into two...three...four...then, it started with taking her to school, studying together, Thanksgiving, the Christmas Ball...

Then, before New Year's, when both families were celebrating together, Mark appeared with a beautiful, golden, heart pendant, with their initials inside of it, asking for her to be his girlfriend.

Or better yet...

'Will you please give me the honor of being your boyfriend?'

On the contrary of what an ordinary person would answer, Rosalind only tilted her head to the side, seeming truly confused by his question.

'Why?'

Mark had a hard time in wrapping his mind around the fact that she couldn't understand why someone would want to date her.

WHO WOULDN'T?

Literally...who wouldn't?

That's what he answered back.

Though, she didn't look convinced enough.

'I really want to know why'

And then he started a whole new speech about how amazing she is. That her whole being always illuminates wherever she's at, that she's the most beautiful, kind, graceful and smart girl that exists, and he really wishes to have coming back sooner so they could be together.

'I never forgot about you. All these years I've thought about seeing you again and finally being able to tell you that I love you. Always have and always will'

By the end of his speech, Rosalind was completely stunned. She did feel like a little girl, about to start giggling and kicking her feet under the table.

'Is that okay for you?'

'Y...yeah...I can work with that'
