◽️◽️...September, 2007...◽️◽️

The Bourbon Street has always been a place to found and lose.

Many tourists are there to forget a bit, the reality outside those beautiful lights and jazz music.

Being truly immersed there, feels like another world.

In a sea of people crossing the roads, entering and exiting many stores, a red Mustang is parking on the side of the road. From the driver's door, emerges an 18 year old Rosalind, wearing a strap, white blouse, jeans shorts and high, brown sandals.

She smiles widely, taking in every detail of the place she's about to start calling home.

It was, in a way, a new beginning for her. In more than one way.

And New Orleans seems just the right place for what she's looking for.

Next week she would starts her internship at the hospital, accompanying children that needed some sort of psychological treatment.

Taking off her sunglasses, she breathes out in relief, after a long car trip.

Locking her car, Rosalind crosses the road, starting to walk along the crown of people.

Every since she stepped out of the car, all the eyes turned in her direction. From her long tanned legs, to her soft-natural blonde hair. When she took off her sunglasses, many people had to stop and look properly at her face.

It was, the most beautiful woman that ever crossed those streets.

That's for sure!

In all her glory and 5'10''. If we don't consider the heels.

She walked like a supermodel in a super runaway.

The wide smile on her lips, shows almost as if she owns the place.

Stopping in front of the Voodoo Shop, glancing inside of it, completely oblivious to the many, many pairs of eyes following every step she took.

Rosalind sees what seems to be a famous place there.

Rousseau's...

It was already on her to-do-list, to take a day off and enter there, just to see why is so crowned of people.

Letting her feet to take her a little more far, Rosalind stops right in front of a huge house.

At least, she thought it was a house.

It was big, full of windows and rooms. In a vintage way and it definitely seems to have a lot of stories inside those walls.

When she turned around, ready to walk away from there, Rosalind collided with a hard chest, almost stumbling and falling on the floor.

"Careful there!" a voice says, wrapping his arms around her and waist, so she wouldn't fall.

Looking up, she sees a brunette man with light eyes, wearing a flat cap, staring fixedly at her.
