At the Boarding House, Rosalind walks down the stairs into the basement with a bag. She approaches the door to one of the cells and peers through the barred door window.

"Ric?" she narrowed her eyes.

"Yep. Still me" he chuckles.

She unlocks the door and enters the cell. Alaric is sitting on a cot in the room.

"You know, you shouldn't be in here. It defeats the point of the whole being locked in a cellar thing" he says.

Rosalind drops the bag on the ground.

"Well, you still need the basics. Toothbrush, clothes, some boring books to help you sleep" she says.

Alaric picks up one of the books and hands it to her.

"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?"

Her eyes widened and she snatches the book out of his hand.

"What? No, I grabbed..." she rolls her eyes once realizing what happened "Damon" she drops the book on the floor "Thinks he's hilarious"

"At least one of us still has a sense of humor" Alaric says.

"Are you sure that you...?" she gestures around "I mean you don't have to be kept in here"

"Ah, no, this is...this is the right place for me to be. At least until you guys can convince my highly uncooperative alter ego to fess up to where I or he hid the white oak stake" Alaric waves her off.

"We looked everywhere. You...the other you, hid it well" Rosalind smiles sheepishly.

"What's Klaus gonna do if you can't find it?" Alaric asks.

Rosalind sighs, running a hand through her hair.

"It's the only thing that will kill him and Rebekah" she shrugs "So wage war, murder people, mass domination, who knows what goes through that skull"

Alaric chuckles.

She pulls up a chair and sits down in it.

"Listen, Stefan and I are gonna watch over you for a little while. Now that Klaus knows where Jeremy is, it's not safe so, Damon and Elena are gonna go to Denver to pick him up" she explains.

Wait, wait, wait...

"You know, I don't think you should be here, participating in Stefan's plan to rip my alter ego's soul out of me" he rubs his face "It could be dangerous"

She huffs a laugh.

"Hey, relax. I'm tougher than it looks like" she says "Besides, I doubt I could just go and spend the day knitting"

Footsteps are heard approaching and soon, Stefan arrives there too.

"Everything okay?" Stefan looks between Rosalind and Alaric.

Rosalind nods, standing up.

"You hear from Klaus?" Alaric asks Stefan.

"Not yet. I'm sure I will soon though" Stefan shows them the white oak stake "He's expecting me to deliver two stakes, I only have one"

"And we will...just get it out of Alaric?" she asks.

"Pretty much" Stefan shrugs.

The she wolf winced when she realized what Stefan meant.
