It's has been an entire month of pure agony and instability for Klaus, to say the least. I guess it's what you got being away from the love of your immortal life. Him acknowledging this fact already or not.

Brooding. This has been his state of mind ever since he discovered that Rosalind left Mystic Falls with her new found werewolf sister.

Almost grieving, to be honest.

Truthfully, Klaus is starting to feel physically sick. His mind can't focus on anything, he hasn't left the mansion in days, even his bloodthirsty seems to disappear little by little.

And to the universe's surprise, Klaus Mikaelson isn't up to any mass domination or murder spree.

Why? Because he has no idea if one day he will get to see his little wolf again, and this kills him.

Every time he'd even think about closing his eyes, the Original Hybrid would see her face, feel her touch, almost taste her lips again.

If all this torment isn't enough, he now has to deal with Rebekah bragging about wanting to take the cure to become human again.

"Elijah, being a human means a fresh start. I can grow old and have a family and fill my days with meaning, knowing that each one matters" Rebekah tells Elijah.

The three siblings are sitting by the dining table.

Klaus laughs with no humor at all, rubbing his temples, wondering if the daggers would possibly work for him, so he can finally forget his torment about being away from Rosalind and having to hear his brat of a sister complaining and complaining.

"Well, that was poetic" he mocks her, glancing down at his phone in hands, not wanting to miss a single call or message from the stunning blonde.

Elijah stares at Klaus in doubt, wondering what the hell has gotten into him.

Of course, Klaus is Klaus, he knows that. But he's currently thousand times pickier, grumpier and moody. If that's even possible.

"Well, if you can provide us with a more compelling reason for wanting the cure, Klaus, please" Elijah nods at him.

"Silas can appear as anyone" Klaus almost shivers, remembering when Silas appeared as Rosalind "He got inside my thoughts, convinced me I was dying. He will torment me until I give him the cure"

"And in doing so he will break down the wall to the Other Side" Rebekah argues with him.

"So it doesn't trap him there when he dies. He wants to reunite with his lost soulmate" Klaus grumbles, turning to Elijah "You of all lovesick fools should applaud his devotion"

Elijah rolls his eyes with a visible scowl.

That might be the biggest lie Klaus ever told someone. After all, he's the one in the verge of dying from heartbreak.

"He will open the floodgates for every supernatural being that has ever died" Rebekah says.

"Including our dear brothers, Kol and Finn. We'll have our family back" Klaus shrugs, not looking up from his phone.

"Please, you hated Kol and you kept Finn in a box for most of his life" now it's Rebekah's time to scowl.

Klaus releases a deep, angry breath, throwing his phone on top of the table, frustrated, gaining weird looks from both Rebekah and Elijah.
