Time seems more than just relative once you're literally inside someone's mind.

The desperation is the only thing grounding the time in Klaus' mind right now.

The rest of them is still trying to get over what they just witnessed.

Theodore and Hope gasped awake, their hands immediately flying to either their chest or throat as they cough harshly.

Just like Klaus' soul returned to his body.

None of the twins answered any of the millions of questions the family kept asking. About how they're feeling, what happened and if they're obviously okay or not.

Until their eyes landed on Klaus. The expressions practically contorted into ones of disgust almost in unison.

"Ew, oh my god, Dad! Why?"

"My stomach hurts"

Though, Klaus only brings them into a hug,  deeply breathing out in relief with trembling hands.

The twins shared conflicted looks, slowly returning the quite suffocating hug.

"What's wrong with him?"

"He's trembling like a Chihuahua"

Klaus huffs a laugh between his tears of relief, withdrawing from the hug, caressing the side of their heads with a calm smile.

"Are you both okay?" he asks, looking straight into their eyes.

"Why wouldn't we be?" Theodore asks, standing up with the help of Kol.

"The two of you were out like bloody lamps, peanut" Kol pats him on the back.

Theodore groaned again, bending over, holding his stomach.

"I feel sick" he grumbles, remembering the not so cool scene they just witnessed.

"I'm still seeing it" Hope says, rubbing her eyes forcefully.

Rebekah covers her laugh, caressing Hope's hair tenderly.

"Oh, don't worry, little one" she coos "We've all witnessed way worse"

The tribrid starts to fake gag, fanning herself.

"I could've gone for the rest of my life believing that we're little raindrops" Hope shivers at the memory.

This little comment caused the rest of them to stare expectantly at the twins, waiting for some explanation about 'little raindrops'.

"One time, when we were five or so, Theo asked Mom where the babies come from" Hope explains, sighing when she noticed the couple of winces "Yeah, I know"

"She told us one day, the mother nature decided to bless her with two miracle little raindrops. That's how she had us and etc, etc..." Theodore explains "I could've stayed with this version though"
