The Gilbert family has always been very big with holidays, especially Christmas. But this specific year, the beginning of the month that used to be so special, simply seems so void and out of place.
Elena, risen from the dead and struggling to complete her transition, and Jeremy falling back into his own mind, blaming himself for never being able to protect his sisters.
And Rosalind...wondering why did the universe seems so against the Gilberts.
Inside her, in the deepest parts of her heart, the place only we know, Rosalind was feeling a type of void that couldn't be filled.
It wasn't because of her family, her friends...not even missing New Orleans, Marcel and Davina.
Then, she realized it all. And it hit her like a tsunami.
She was missing Klaus.
Missing his presence, his comfort, his intensity and even his overprotectiveness.
She hated to admit, but her mind would always drift towards him and let her with only the imagine of his beautiful blue-greenish eyes and killer smile.
On resume, it's hurts not to have him anymore.
Now, why does it hurt so much, she's still reluctant in admitting it.
After she didn't get any answers from her witch friends in New Orleans about Elena perhaps not having to complete her transition into vampire, Rosalind returned back to Mystic Falls and is currently getting out of her car. Suddenly she felt a slightly pain on her back. She looks back a little to find a shot of vervain on her back.
"What the..." she murmurs.
An officer appears in front of her, making her looks confused.
'They think I'm a vampire?' she thought with herself.
Before she could react or do something, another officer appears behind her and hits her head against the car, then everything went black.

A black van is being escorted by two police cars, one in front and one in back. Inside the van, Rebekah wakes up, Caroline is sitting beside her wearing a worried look to her other side. Lifting her head a little she sees an injured Rosalind, almost unconscious. Rebekah struggles to get out of the ropes tying her down.
