"Go away Terry. Ion wanna talk." I said taking the throw pillows off my bed.
"I know, but Pat our babygirl ran away because she didn't want this to happen."he said as I mugged him.
"I didn't want this to happen. I was pregnant at 13, and by 15 I had two kids. I was doing anything to survive. I did everything to protect my kids, to encourage them to be better than me, Terry. And Janelle repeated the fucking cycle? You don't think that hurts? After years of trying to forget and get away from this shit, of turning my pain into jokes. This is my real life! My life is a joke,"I said chuckling in disbelief as tears ran down my cheek.
I didn't want this for my kids, and the crazy part is, I thought it would've been Brandon or Ashley. They the ones grew up with me, yet it was the one who had better opportunities, options, and sources. How fucking ironic.
