"We got a prollem," Kodie said walking into my office as I mugged her.
"You got a deathwish." I replied annoyed, she rolled her eyes.
"I'm immortal."
"I can make it hurt." I responded quickly as she smirked.
"I like pain."
"What do you want?" I said getting more angry by the minute.
"Straggler on the loose-
"How the fuck did a mortal get through the threshold?" I interrupted,
"Which is exactly why we have a problem." She said as if it was obvious.
"Where's Kwn?" I asked as she shrugged.
"Somewhere with her head up Kehlani's ass."
"I can hear you motherfucker." Kwn said telepathically as her voice reached our ears heavily.
"I wasn't whispering ma'fucka." Kodie said back harshly. To be honest It wasn't a day they weren't down each other's throats. I enjoyed the scene, no seriously.
"All y'all can go back to hell with y'all unhelpful ass." I paused, "Where he at?"
"It's a woman." She said as I smirked myself.
"Even better."

"Excuse me-
"No, I don't want a drink. I can pay for it myself, sorry." She said quickly.
"Good thing I don't want to buy you a drink."I said instantly irritated.
"I don't want sex either. I'm not here for that. I'm sure you can find your self another girl." She said sipping her drink turning away from me. My nostrils flared in anger. If only she knew just how powerful I was.
"You are so-
"Choose your words wisely." She said as I scrunched my face up in surprise. For some reason I did exactly as told, something that had never happened before.
I don't watch my mouth for anyone.
"Haughty."
"How so?"she asked as I sighed.
"Bec-
"That's was rhetorical. I don't actually need to know why. I'm trying to be nice but if you can't tell I don't really wanna talk. I just wanna enjoy the moment. The only moment I'm getting away from my personal life so if you could lead me be it'd be gratefully appreciated." She said leaving me with more questions in my head the more she talked.
Nevertheless this woman was breathtaking. And believe me I have seen a few, I mean there's no limit to what you could shapeshift into when you do decide to take on human form. There are lots of hot commodities and to me she was the peak...
Almost, Angelic.
But she couldn't be, right? I would know instantly.
"How'd you get here?" I asked, she turned once again I made sure to make eye contact to persuade her into telling me the truth and nothing but.
"Excuse me?" She said after a few moments which sparked more confusion. Why didn't it work?
"I mean, how did you find your way here? We're not exactly on Maps." I said as she chuckled, I was dead serious.
"I stumbled across it." She said
"Really?" I asked
"Yeah, really."
"Alright this was a fun game but if you all are toying with me- I don't like to be toyed with. Everyone knows that toying with me comes with repercussions." I said while her she looked offended.
"What?" She looked utterly confused. A very good actor indeed. They must have sent her out, she couldn't have know what I was capable off. Had to be a dare of sorts.
"Did my Brother send you?" I stated.
"You're strange and a weirdo." She insulted as I was now fed up. I wasn't getting the answers I wanted.
"Alright time to go." I grabbed her arm as she fought.
"Let me go!" Soon as the entire statement came from her mouth I did exactly as told.
"I'm sorry." I said feeling weak looking at the discomfort on her face. I was flustered with a ball of confusion. I would never say sorry, my brain did not tell those word to come from my mouth. I didn't consent to that.
So what was happening?
By the time I came out of my thoughts the girl was gone. I looked around seeing her make her way towards the exit. I stood there nie very upset.
"Get out!" I roared as everything stopped in the club. All my 'people' disappeared in thin air. I was glad they did as told. I didn't need more shit to handle.
"What's wrong boss?" Kehlani siad first as all three of them stood infront of me.
"Find me that girl. Now!" I said as they scattered off knowing not to question me.
I turned back toward the bar pouring myself a drink.
