"P what's up?!"I said throwing my hands up coming to the bar as she nodded towards me as I looked around.

"Hey, you want the usual?" She asked as I nodded before spotting someone that caught my eye beside me.

"Yeah, you already know, and uh, put whatever this pretty lady wants on my tab."I said as she shook her head before going to make my drink.

I know it's corny, let me fucking cook.

"Excuse me miss, I'm y/n and you are?"I said as she rolled her eyes ignoring me.

"Damn it's like that?"I said pulling my hand back nodding.

"Not my fault you assumed I was nice. Paying for a drink ain't nothing. You just like every other nigga in here." She said as I chuckled.

"No, I did that because I needed to get your attention and to get you to talk to me. You're hypocritical because you're assuming I'm just like every other nigga in here."I said as she hummed.

"Okay, I'll give you that. But you gone act like you don't know who I am?"She said as I chuckled.

"Is this not our first time meeting?"I asked "What if I lived under a rock?"

"Then you definitely wouldn't be at this club."she said as I nodded. Touché, "Do you?" She asked as I shook my head.

"Nah, I know who you are. Nice to meet you, Latto." I said

"Mhm, nice to meet you too. What is it exactly that you want?"She said

"I'm glad you get down to buisness,"I paused. "We grown, right? I know the reason I'm here-

"And what's that?"she interrupted, I could tell she was intrigued. Plus she's still talking, if anything she would've been curved me.

"To party." I said as Penelope sat our drink down. I downed mine quickly as we held eye contact.

"I think we all came to do that." She chuckled stirring hers.

"Good, cause, ian tryna waste neither on of our time. You look good," I complimented

"Thank you, so do you." She said

"I-

"Hold that thought," she put her finger up. "This my song,"She said as Bad By Wale played. She grab my hand surprisingly as I followed her to the floor.

Her hips began to rock to the beat, brushing against me just enough to tempt, not enough to give in. A tease. She knew what she was doing. And I let her.

"Damn," I said low by her ear, my hand settling on her waist now like it belonged there.

"You gon' keep sayin' that or you gon' do something about it?" she said, glancing back at me, eyes heavy, lips glossy.

I laughed a little, tugged her closer by the waist. "Say less."

We danced-slow, close, deliberate. Like we already knew how the night was ending but we was just enjoying the prelude.

I ain't need to grab on her too much. She gave just enough. A look here. A touch there. Her fingertips trailing my arm like she was tryna decide if I was worth the time or just a quick memory.

"You always this friendly with strangers?" I asked, leaning down.

From afar we were basically dry-fucking onna floor but Ian complaining.

"Depends if the stranger got good or bad intentions," she said.

"What makes you think I got either?" I replied.

She smirked. "I don't. But you ain't boring. That's a start."

I raised a brow. "So you looking for excitement or connection?"

"Who said I'm looking for anything?"

Her tone was playful, but her eyes? They said it all.

She didn't want promises. She wanted release.

That's when I knew.

We were on the same page.

Just two people who ain't owe each other nothing but a night. And I was okay with that,

"C'mon," she said, breaking from me suddenly, grabbing my hand again.

"Where we goin'?" I asked, letting her lead.

"You said you ain't tryna waste time, right?"

"Right," I said, heartbeat steady but mind racing.

We slid through the crowd, weaving past drunk girls and half-tipsy dudes. P gave me a look-half warning, half impressed. I nodded. She knew.

We hit the back exit, her heels clicking fast against the pavement.

Her car wasn't far. Clean whip, tinted windows. She slid into the driver's seat like she been had this plan in her head. I got in the passenger, glanced over at her.

"You always take strangers home?" I asked, cracking the window.

"Only the ones who don't ask dumbass questions," she said, smirking.

I chuckled. "Right."

The ride was quiet, but it wasn't awkward. Just heat. That tension.

Her hand rested on the gearshift, nails tapping. I was tempted to reach for her thigh, but I ain't wanna break the pace.

Looking back, I should've.

She was setting the tempo. I respected that.

Pulling into a private garage, she parked and turned off the engine. Looked over at me for a second, just watching.

"What?" I asked.

"You sure you know what this is?"

I tilted my head, "Do you?"

That got her to smile. "Then we understand each other."

We stepped inside-her place was clean, dim, smelled like vanilla and something expensive.

She walked ahead, kicking her heels off near the door. I followed.

No more small talk. No more flirting.

Just that unspoken agreement.

This wasn't love.
Wasn't romance.
We knew that.

And neither of us planned on holding back. I sure as hell didn't...
