I've known Serayah long enough to hear her footsteps before she opens my door.
She never knocks. Never has. Just twists the handle like the room belongs to her too which, in a way, it always has.
She drops her bag by my desk and flops onto my bed like she's done a million times before, long legs kicking the comforter, phone tossed somewhere near my pillow.
