Once, twice.

Trapped in between parallel realities
Our lives cross; once, twice,
They are intertwining.

Trapped in between today and yesterday
I smile at you; once, twice,
I am still just another mediocre girl.

Trapped in between paradoxes
Your eyes meet mine; once, twice,
You won't acknowledge me.

Trapped in between the confines of my own solitude
I walk past your house; once, twice,
Do you see me from your window?

Trapped in between my contradicting conscience
I almost say hello; once, twice,
If you notice me just send me a sign.

Trapped in between the second and minute hands
A day passes rapidly; once, twice,
Yet our perpendicular lives are moving at a snail- pace.

Trapped in between the walls of my home
My mind drifts to you; once, twice,
And I wonder if you know how patiently I am waiting to meet you.

Trapped in between the 10 house difference separating us,
I believe in realities; once, twice,
But I am a chameleon and so, of course, you can't possibly know me...

Once, twice, I wish that I had the confidence to say,"Hi, who are you?"
